Our spacious 4 bedroom home offers plenty of room for guests to get comfortable! Upstairs there is a 2 bedroom , 2 bathroom as well as office, living room, laundry and a large kitchen. Downstairs Kitchenette offers 2 queen bedrooms, one with a walk-in closet, living/common area with optional queen air mattress and multiple other couches to sleep, sleeping 8-10 in total. Appliances in basement include griddle, full-sized fridge, microwave, sink, and a full set of dish ware allows for comfort and livability for our guests. Guests are more than welcome to use the upstairs oven or washing/drying units! Outdoor patio furniture located on front porch and an outdoor fire pit to use as long as there is no fire ban! 5-minute drive to United States Air Force Academy. Abundance of street parking for friends and family. House is located in the Gleneagle neighborhood, with close proximity to many attractions in both Colorado Springs as well as Monument. Bring your bikes and hiking shoes and enjoy the great outdoors. Monument Lake (closest), Palmer Lake and, Woodmoor lake accommodates paddle boarding, fishing and kayaking (Not provided). There are many excellent hiking locations; Mt. Herman Trailhead 5.8 miles away, Palmer Lake Reservoir 3.6 miles away, Spruce Mountain open space 7.4 miles away and, the New Santa Fe Trailhead that stretches 17 miles across the front range. Also, only 20 minutes or so to the new Switchback Stadium and Olympic Museum! This is a no smoking residence, if you are to smoke inside our residence, you will be charged a $400 additional cleaning fee. No pets allowed.

Summary: We stayed here for an end of summer family vacation. The house is located about 20-30 from most attractions, so it was an easy drive. There were several grocery stores with a mile and a shopping center with multiple food options, entertainment and top golf right around the corner. The house was spacious and very well kept. I've stayed at a lot of vrbo rentals and this was by far the best kept. Lots of kitchen supplies, bathrooms fully stocked. I would definitely stay here again. Owners were very quick to respond with any questions.

Summary: We were in Colorado for about a week and stayed in this amazing, very clean modernized basement apartment. We loved the stay! A beautiful remodeled home that had everything our family needed and loads to do in the local area. The home owner was very friendly and accommodating for anything we needed or inquired about. Definitely recommend!!
