From the area, walk through the sliding glass doors onto the balcony and take in the cool water views of Smith Mountain Lake. Located in Striper's Landing, the community offers a seasonal pool with a kiddie pool open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, tennis courts, boat trailer storage and launch, a cabana, picnic tables, and a community grill.
Striper's Landing is located on a quiet cove off the main part of the lake near Gills Creek, a favorite fishing spot that allows quiet time to fish or cruise the cove but is close enough to the action of the 20,000-acre lake with over 500 miles of shoreline. Smith Mountain Lake Community Park has a swimming beach, fishing pier, playground for children, and walking trails only four miles from the condo.

Summary: Overall, we had a fine experience. The place is small, but pretty comfortable, and we weren't trying to spend too much time there anyway. The wifi worked well considering it's shared. The location was convenient and the view of the lake was beautiful, but the porch was really dusty and webby, like no one had been out there in a while, so we had to clean up a bit in order to spend time out there.

Summary: This was a little slice of heaven! From the cute lake decor to the gorgeous view from our balcony, everything was perfect. The picnic area set up was SO nice if you want to grill. We were only there for a short time so we didn’t take advantage of it, but there are a couple of large grills and lots of tables. The pool was clean, although a bit chilly, and very large. THERE ARE LOTS OF STEPS! If you don’t like or can’t do steps, this is not the place for you. Even to get to the bottom level of condos requires trekking some steps, and to get down to the pool and lake requires lots more. Just be aware. I wouldn’t want your vacay ruined by the inability to maneuver the property. We didn’t have a problem with it. This a very nice, and quiet, little weekend getaway. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

Summary: Beautiful little condo-and when I say little, I mean it. Perfect, however for two people! It had everything we needed and was very clean and cozy, with beautiful lake/fishing decor. On the third floor with a little balcony overlooking the lake. Beautiful place-would definitely go back!

Summary: Stayed in #220 this weekend. It is extremely small but works okay for 2 people. No frills, could use an overall update but had everything we needed and a little more. The pool at Striper's Landing is worth the entire cost of the unit. It's our favorite. You are also really close to West Lake restaurants and Kroger. The sleeper sofa in this unit ROCKS!! Overall a great stay and many thanks to the owners.

Summary: This property looks exactly like the photos and is adorable and immaculate. Furnishings are all new and in beautiful condition. The end unit, on a top floor, is very quiet and peaceful (no elevator, so we got our steps in!) The setting, overlooking the grounds, pool, and lake is gorgeous. We had a question, so texted the management company, and received an immediate answer. Very much appreciated. Keep in mind, this unit is TINY. There's very little storage space, as every kitchen cabinet is stocked with dish and cookware, the living room cabinets hold games, extra bedding, outdoor cushions, etc. Open shelving in the kitchen, bath, and living room feature lake-themed decor. The bedroom dresser is roomy, so plan ahead and take only what you absolutely need :)
