Summary: This place is wonderful. The location near the Nakkertok trails (walked, no snow yet) was excellent, and it is a convenient drive from the city. The home was spotless, perfectly appointed, with lots of thoughtful extras from the host. The lake is visible through the trees, and only a short walk down a path/boardwalk. We all had a great time!

Summary: The host, Robin, was pleasant and quick to respond to any inquiries.The house was nicely decorated, clean, well appointed and stocked with everything we needed. The very large fridge/freezer/ice maker and filtered water were a big plus. I think the host thought of everything.The BBQ on the deck off of the kitchen was easily accessible.We enjoyed the lower level covered patio from where we saw deer from time to time.Some in our group used the hot tub and enjoyed it. We had expected to see the lake from the house. The dock is reached by a short path and a boardwalk that is approximately 70’ long. We enjoyed spending time on the dock watching the ducks during the day and looking at stars at night. We made use of the kayak and took turns taking it out as well as a paddle board. The area is quiet for a good night’s sleep.

Summary: Everyone we dealt with while staying at the property were kind and efficient. Overall, the place looks nice, however, there were some things that needed to be paid closer attention to.The comforter in the master had burn marks on it and had so much pilling that it was in desperate need to be replaced. The towels were just okay. For our second weekend, we brought a duvet and extra towels from home.The place wasn’t as clean as you would expect, my husband and kids found nail clippings on the floor and I ended up vacuuming the whole place before our friends joined us on day 2.We had to get someone to come and clean the hot tub as it was not clean and not balanced when we arrived with four kids who really wanted to use it.The dock was beautiful and the set up was nice, however, there was a floating dock that no one told us anything about and we asked neighbours how we could hook it up and use it. Without the floating dock, it’s difficult to swim as the water is very shallow at the main dock. Lots of lily pads and weeds.There is no view of the lake from the house, unless perhaps you stay there in the fall. The walls and doors were splashed with drinks and quite dirty. There was only one wine glass. We brought glasses from home weekend 2. The AC is on main level and doesn’t reach 3 basement rooms. We will not return to this location and feel it was not quite worth the amount of money that we spent on it. This is the first time I’ve ever left a bad review of a place.

Summary: We chose this location due to its private out of the city location but closer proximity to nordik in chelsea (34 minutes). We loved the kitchen decks and entertaining space. The beds were ok. Wish we couldve rented both sides of the house for more larger beds as we came with 8 adults. Overall great experience highly recommended!
