Summary: Our stay was overall a great experience, and we would definitely do it again. The location was absolutely perfect for our wedding weekend, allowing us to celebrate and enjoy quality time with family and friends. The owner was very communicative and easy to work with, which made the planning process much smoother. The only downside we encountered was a noise complaint due to our DJ during the wedding day. It would have been helpful to know in advance about potential noise restrictions or to have neighbors informed about the event, especially considering it was a small wedding celebration. Aside from that, we truly enjoyed our time and appreciate the space. It's a beautiful venue for a special occasion!

Summary: Our family was in town for a wedding held offsite, but used the beautiful home as our base for a Labor Day weekend. Laura was great to work with in communicating everything about the rental. There were fresh flowers, wedding party cake pops and a bottle of champagne awaiting us, which was a very nice touch! We wish we would have booked a longer stay to be able to enjoy the home more, but made the most of the hot tub, steam room and sauna. Everything in the home was well thought out and very comfortable, very well stocked and clean. The back yard was gorgeous, if we would have stayed longer we would have enjoyed a bon fire to spend time in great backyard. We had a wonderful stay!

Summary: We stayed at Troba for a bachelorette wellness weekend for my sister. I really wanted it to be special and a weekend everyone would remember and this stay did not disappoint. From the very beginning stages of planning and reaching out to the host with an inquiry, the weeks leading up to our reservation, and throughout our stay the host was very responsive and helpful. She replied quickly and offered recommendations. All of the tiny details made the experience extra special including but not limited to the cake pops and fresh flowers, the chocolates left on our beds, and the toiletries. The property is more beautiful than the pictures which I didn't think was possible. The rooms were spacious, the common spaces were open and accomodated our group hanging out comfortably, and the amenities were all great. We had chefs make brunch one day and everything they needed was available in the kitchen. We also had a guided sound bath meditation outside and the yard was spacious, well manicured, and so serene for this experience. Overall, the home was beautiful and the amenities worked well. We did have an issue with the hot tub that was able to get figured out and the host was very helpful and even offered to send maintenance which didn't end up being necessary. I would highly recommend booking a stay here and will definitely look forward to returning in the future!

Summary: What can we say, except totally amazing! The property and amenities were well appointed and resembled a resort quality and feel in Homer Glen. IL. We stayed 4 nights at the end of May 2024. We had our wedding on the property and had a wonderful time. Anything we had a question on or had a slight concern with was addressed timely by Laura and her team. We highly recommend having your next event here. We give it 5 stars! Thank you again for allowing us to have our wedding at your property!

Summary: We stayed at Troba last year and stayed this past weekend again. The owner, Laura, responded instantly to any questions I asked her. Her house is not only beautiful but she supplies you with everything you may need. Even though it was cold my grandkids loved the outdoor hot tub. The sauna and steam room were wonderful. The theater room and game room were awesome. Thank you Laura for sharing your beautiful home!!

Summary: Our stay at Troba was amazing. Our family celebrated the week of Christmas and not only did Laura make the property feel like home with many personal touches, the holiday decorations added a special touch. Summary: This was the third time I've stayed at this location with friends for a local getaway. The space is a great blend of rustic and modern.
