Welcome to Dune's Edge! Enjoy our modern oasis with a mid-century vibe! Across the street from the National Park and two blocks from the beach. Ping pong, darts & bags. Perfect for couples, a few friends, or a family looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway at Lake Michigan.
Cook in the gourmet kitchen or use the provided gas grill in the courtyard. Get your marshmallows ready for the outdoor firepit. Beach chairs, wagon, towels and toys are provided. Hike the Indiana Dunes National Park.
The space
Our spacious home can currently accommodate 6 guests in 2 bedrooms/3 full bathrooms. Read each room's description to see bed options.
We are fully outfitted for a fun and relaxing stay for you. We have a ping pong table, bags (cornhole set), firepit, plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to relax, and board games.
The first time you enter, you will come through the garage (where our ping pong table lives). You'll see the master bedroom to your left and the laundry room/mud room to your right.
MASTER BEDROOM includes:
-King sized bed
-Private bathroom with double sink
-Large shower with 3 shower heads including rainfall shower head
-Toilet with bidet
Keeping walking and you'll see the main door beyond the Master bedroom and the stairs to the loft. Across from that to your right, you'll find the second bedroom.
2ND BEDROOM includes:
-Queen sized Sleep Number bed
-Direct access to bathroom
-Chair and ottoman
Immediately after the second bedroom is a door to the bathroom. This same bathroom is directly accessible from bedroom #2.

LIVING ROOM:
-Two sofas
-Modern chairs
-Large plants
-Access to back patio and outside table
DINING ROOM:
-Table seats 6
KITCHEN:
-Gourmet kitchen stocked with pots, pans, mixing bowls, and other cooking essentials
-Retro-inspired orange fridge
-Bar with 2 bar stools
-Recycled glass countertops
FAMILY ROOM / OFFICE
Off the living room, there is another room which can be used as a Game Room/ TV Room / Play room / Office.
-Pocket doors which can be closed or kept open
-Sonos surround sound system for TV
-Dedicated work area and desk
-The sectional had 2 twin sized sections - bolsters can be removed to sleep 2 people. Best for kids.
Head upstairs to the loft for even more space!
THE LOFT:
-TV with Sonos surround sound and couches
-Full bathroom with shower and bidet
-Full wet bar including dishwasher and ice machine
-In the cabinet, you will find two twin sized foldable memory foam floor mattresses (and bedding) that can be used on the floor to sleep 2. Best for kids.
The loft also has access to
ROOFTOP TERRACE
-Hammock
-Outside seating
-Propane fire pit
Don't forget the outside patio area!
OUTSIDE PATIO:
-Solo Stove firepit (wood is provided)
-Lounge areas
-Outdoor game area for bags/corn hole
-Grill and sink
-Outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach
This patio area is accessible via sliding doors from the master bedroom, as well as the dining area.
Guest access
You'll have access to the entire house except for owner's cupboard (one locked closet and a few locked cabinets).

Summary: We come here every year and this is the BEST location and property that we have ever stayed in. The home is so functional for my niece (teenager) and young nephews. The outside area is relaxing and less than 1 block from the beach. The home is such a delight that I almost did not want to leave. Every thing you need is here!

Summary: We are a family of 5 my boys are 18, 21 (twins). We absolutely loved it and will book again in the summer. So happy with the kitchen cuz we prepared and ate all meals there. Everything I needed and more was available. Plus a cute welcome note with snacks and cold drinks was a nice thoughtful touch. We also enjoyed the fire pit (wood provided), grill, charming private yard, surround sound tv room, darts, how close the walk to the beach was, we hiked at both Indiana Dunes National Park and Indiana Dunes State Park, nice second small fridge upstairs for drinks, washer and dryer. Host was very responsive before and during our trip. Everything was even better than the pictures. Easy from beginning to end. It was so nice to have 3 full bathrooms too. Such a cute place inside and outside. They really thought of everything you would need to have a nice relaxing vacation, I really loved that we had the beach all to ourselves finding rocks and shells looking at Chicago across Lake Michigan. Even though it rained all night long the sandy hiking trails were fine the next day. So nice to drive just an hour from our house and get out and exercise on the trails and beach. Thank you Katie for making our stay perfect. Our family really appreciated and enjoyed your beautiful Miller Beach home.

Summary: We’ll definitely be booking again. Absolutely beautiful home and guest service, thank you so much for our short stay! Kitchen is fully stocked, we cooked a few meals. Used oven, range, etc. Bed was so comfortable (need to get the brand) and shower was nice! Office and Wifi are on point, and we even played a few games they provided. Location and walk way to the beach was nice and short. Only issue was, wish we could spend more time! Thank you
