Location:
Our mostly all wood house is situated on a private road, secluded between trees, overlooking the Coxing Kill and only five minutes walking distance from a free-range farm for you to pick up your fresh eggs from.
The House:
Fully furnished huge deck, on a private road, surrounded by nature- our house is the perfect place to spend quality time with friends and family.
First floor is one huge semi-open space where the kitchen and dinning room are overlooking the living room, kitchen island with bar chairs, spacious kitchen to prepare you favorite meals, two stoves to assist you with cooking, and a large deck equipped with a brand new barbecue and furniture.
One bedroom is located on the first floor with queen size bed, as well as a full bathroom, washer and dryer.
Second floor:
- Master bedroom and bath, brand new king size bed with tempurpdic mattress, private patio.
- Kid's room with two, full size bed, wooden crib loft with full size bed. -Third guest room has queen size bed
Full bathroom is available for both rooms.
Third Floor:
Meditation room equipped with a sleeping sofa (queen size), spiritual books, yoga ball, yoga matts. The perfect space to mediate, read books, or use it as a private bedroom or office/ work area.
Please note, the nightly rate is listed for 7 persons.
If the reservation is for more than 7 people, an extra charge of $50/day/person will be added to the total. Children older than 8y are counted as adults.
Pets are accepted case by case.
Pet Fee is $150 per pet, per stay.

Summary: Our extended family of five adults, four children, and a dog, spent a lovely week in this spacious home. We have relatives in the area who also joined us for several meals. The house and grounds offer many options for interacting with others. Or alternatively, for finding privacy. One member of our family had a business meeting on Zoom and found the third floor meditation room to be perfect for that purpose. The kids explored the creek and spread their projects across the living room floor. This property has my highest recommendation.

Summary: Would highly recommend with no reservations. This is our second time staying here. Ginger Road House is a beautiful property with comfy beds, lovely views, great amenities, and everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The hosts were highly responsive and were always available to answer questions. It was a lovely place to celebrate my wife's birthday with a small group of friends. We are hoping to come back for a third time & more.

Summary: This beautiful home is ideal for 2 families meeting up. Lots of space indoors and out. Hot tub heaven, running room for football games. Near fabulous walks and New Paltz for shopping and supplies.

Summary: We stayed here for the annual Rock the Ridge race. The location was great, we had plenty of room for everyone and the house was very well equipped. The kitchen and large kitchen table was where we spent most of our time while in the house. Plenty of room to play games, and serve dinner. The communication with the host was excellent. A couple of small issues in the house (clogged shower, ants and even a squirrel entering the house!), but we're in the woods, so...... :) We'd definitely stay here again!

Summary: Great property for family gathering! Very open floor plan on 1st & 2nd levels so everyone felt included in what was happening... loved how bright it was with all the windows! Beds were super comfortable! Located a short drive from many different activities; we ventured 1 beautiful cold day to Poughkeepsie to walk the Mid-Hudson Pedestrian bridge.

Summary: 7 Friends and 5 Kids needed an escape to relax over new years, Ginger Road was ideal, secluded but close enough to amenities, with ample living space for us to not be bumping into each other. The house checked all the boxes we required. Painless process working with the hosts.

Summary: The home in the shadow of Mohonk House is a great place for heading out for eye poppingly beautiful hikes. The property had everything we needed to rest, relax and rejuvenate before and after a day of hiking. It was like our own private upscale park lodge.

Summary: A magical Christmas was enjoyed by our family at Ginger's Sanctuary !! We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival to a lovely decorated Christmas tree (a live one!) complete with twinkling lights and ornaments ! How special ! The home was lovely, warm, spacious and equipped with everything one could hope or ask for. A wood burning stove with an ample supply of firewood kept the house toasty warm inside and the amazing hot tub kept you warm outside! We were blessed one morning with a lovely snowfall and took a walk on Ginger Road - met a couple of friendly neighbors along the way and loved the picturesque surroundings. The landscape was from a Currier and Ives picture - breathtaking! The house was spotless - the beds were very comfortable - the bath towels luxurious! Great care and attention to detail was evident in every room of this house ! Kosta and Lidia made sure their guests had all the comforts of home AND MORE !! We would give this beautiful home and owners 10 STARS! Thank you so very much for sharing your wonderful home with our family. Debby and Vincent

Summary: Our stay here was a much-needed family gathering. Plenty of space both inside and out. We could have used more outdoor seating - so bring lawn chairs or folding chairs if you want to be outside. Really close to state parks/Mohonk Preserves, so that was a plus.
