Positive: Interesting old style real korean boarding house.Completely silent all nights,due to the impressive discipline of the mostly long-time korean guests.Free rice dish in morning.Sensational low prize for a tiny single room,about the korean prize of 1 kilo apples.

Negative: No bed sheds.I slept in long underwear to avoid too much contact.The place can be a bit shocking at first if you are only used to modern spotless new hostels but most western people,like me,seem to start enjoying it after a while.My first week room had an unpleasant smell of old furniture,try asking for a fan for more air circulation then.

Positive: The real korean hostel experience,maybe the last of the old style hotels in South Korea.Extremely low prize

Negative: Bring own bed linings.Basically always self-check in as the caretakers seems to prefer staying hidden in the background(too much first-sight complaints?).Keys lying out at reception.Every room with own Wifi router,the name and password at the side of the small router box.For help ask someone in the kitchen( though most of the long-time korean residents speak no english).The one who cooks the rice for the morning free dish is likely the current caretaker("Are you the manager?No,just a friend")But in Korea you are never far from being helped

Positive: Rice was always available and kimchi in the mornings. Location was perfect just walk out the door and you are in the town. Subway 5 minute walk and convenience stores walking distance. The room was small but I had a fridge and got given a fan as I was in a room with no window. Had all the facilities I needed, female bathroom with shower and use of toiletries. TV in my room and desk to sit and eat at. The hotel was very quiet at night and it was perfect for what I wanted. Just somewhere to sleep and eat as I was out everyday. It was cheap but it was good value and would stay again.

Negative: I would have preferred a window as it did get hot in the room as it was small and no fresh air. I did have to open my door at times.

Summary: I got to see a lot of Busan as I picked the right hotel for location and was very cheap.
