Outside you will find the original paved courtyard, a working wood-fired oven and a magnificent 16m swimming pool all within a fenced private garden.

Summary: We had an amazing stay at Monaldesca Villa. The hosts were very easy to contact and the place was amazing- very clean and had everything we needed and more, including pool toys, a speaker, recipe and tools to make pizza in the pizza oven. We enjoyed our time very much.

Summary: Having just returned from two weeks in this beautiful property we can highly recommend it! The Villa is very authentic (steep stone stairs) but done up with such taste and design. The bedrooms all have en-suites and air conditioning (we were there during a heatwave so this was very welcome). The bedroom downstairs with two single beds is the only room with a smart TV so has Netflix/Disney etc...the lounge does not have a TV but this didn't bother us at all. Outside there are many different areas to choose to sit. The pool is a lovely size with a perfect shallow area and large steps which are perfect to sit on to keep cool (however surrounded by grass, not patio). We were bitten to bits but that is just indicative of the area not fair to hold it against the property but Roberta leaves boxes of sprays and we purchased citronella candles which we felt helped. We used the wood burning Italian style BBQ which was fun and also the fire pit.There is a brilliant laundry room with a washer/dryer and ironing board in. Recycling is important and we wish we had known before our first shop about the glass water bottle recycling option (you put €6 in a tin in the laundry for a tray of water in glass bottles and you replace the bottles - also an option of sparkling) as we wouldn't have bought all the plastic bottles. Roberta and Max were perfect hosts they live next door but you would never know apart from the treats! Stay in this villa it's amazing!

Summary: Roberta has been truly amazing from the start - booking, communication, check in and check out, stay were seemless and worked like a charm. The pictures do not do the this beautiful house justice - it's even more beatiful and extremely comfrotable. The house has everything you could possibly need to enjoy a fantastic stay in the most amazing place on Earth like Umria. Thank you Roberta and Massimo for your hospitality! We would love to come back some day soon.

Summary: What a wonderful place to stay in Umbria! The villas was just so beautiful and comfortable. The grounds were lovely and the patio was perfect for outdoor dining, drinks and coffee in the morning. Roberta was very helpful in connecting us to a wonderful tour guide as well as a terrific chef. Note that there is a very steep stone staircase to get to the two master bedrooms, not a good choice for anyone with a disability. Also, the villa is in the country, you need a car as nothing is in walking distance.

Summary: A truly beautiful villa with every possible need met and many additional extras which made it more perfect. Roberta and Massimo were incredibly kind and helpful and we felt very well looked after. We had a wonderful time and could not fault any of it. Summary: Roberta's house is special on so many levels: great location to wonderful Umbria tons, perfectly designed property with many beautiful corners and amazingly thought through house for each use and details. Summary: The villa is incredibly beautiful both inside and out. The care and thoughtful touches throughout are unequaled. From the beautiful bed linen to the fresh flowers and homemade torte upon arrival everything was done with utmost class. Roberta and Mossimo are gracious and generous host. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, serene yet centrally located stay in the Umbria region. Grazie!

Summary: Just arrived back from 6 nights at Monaldesca, the stay exceeded our expectations and we were very sad to leave. Roberta was an amazing host and has clearly thought of everything regarding this property, the decoration and attention to detail is quite amazing. The property is in an excellent location in close proximity to Spello, Assisi, Montefalco etc. Spello was our favourite location in regards to its architecture and general vibe. A large supermarket was ample for a weeks groceries alongside lovely restaurants and independent shops, we found ourselves wondering around Spello often. We was very lucky to have wall to wall sunshine 30 degrees our entire stay so we made sure we used the outdoor facilities, the pool, outside dining area's alongside the darts board, basketball court etc it was extremely impressive. We loved the extra room that you could prepare you own pizza's with the pizza oven. We found the villa to be very quiet and private and felt very relaxed throughout our stay, Roberta was always there via whatsapp to answer any questions if necessary. The Kitchen was amazing, we rustled up some lovely meals, every utensil and appliance you could think of is supplied and it made it a real joy cooking. We loved Roberta's environmental ethos, as keen recyclers ourselves we was more than happy to oblige and follow her scheme. I'd love to go on but in summary it was a luxury 5* experience and we would have no hesitation in recommending Monaldesca. Thank You Roberta & Massimo. Tips- A car would be necessary due to its rural location and proximity to local towns would not be walking distance.

Summary: Roberta and Max have created a beautifully calm and stylish holiday home. Everything has been thought through down to the bathrobes! Outside are several areas to enjoy and the pool was a lovely temperature. We also really liked their environmental ethos with reusable glass water bottles available and easy recycling facilities. The nearest town of Spello has everything you will need and some excellent restaurants. Thank you Roberta for your attentions which were very much appreciated!

Summary: We absolutely LOVED our stay at Roberta and Massimo's stunning property. We're a family with two toddlers (one and three) and stayed with another couple for a week. Beautiful indoor/outdoor living, stunning, pool, gorgeous decoration and all the comforts of home - they have truly thought of every detail. We also loved their local recommendations of restaurants and quaint towns to visit - we hope to be back one day. Highly recommend!
