Summary: My wife and I just spent another wonderful 12 nights at the Monarque, our 4th successive year. We honestly can’t praise the hotel highly enough; definitely the best we have stayed at in our world travels. Everything about it is fabulous, especially the service, which is second to none. ALL staff are so obliging and helpful, and do everything possible to ensure a perfect and memorable stay. What we also love about the hotel is: - fabulous/extensive buffet breakfast - included afternoon tea with nice selection of cakes & rolls - clean, well appointed, and comfortable rooms. We stayed in a Royal Ocean view room, which was fantastic, but the Deluxe Rooms also looked really good. - evening entertainment during Happy Hour in the upstairs bar - pool and lounges - location, just across the road from the beach and promenade (great for evening walks), and within close proximity to numerous restaurants and convenience stores. The only negative, is we wish we could have stayed longer. Looking forward already to returning next year.
