Positive: The grounds and setting are beautiful. It's an easy walk into town. The facilities in the main building are good. The staff are friendly.
Negative: I booked this property through Booking.com, which incorrectly indicated that there was a double and a single bed in each room. It should say double OR single in each room. I looked at past reviews, and this has been an issue for others that has not been fixed. As many other reviews have stated, the carpets in the cottages need replacing or, at the very least, a good steam cleaning. I'm normally scared that we'll get the carpets dirty, but this time I was afraid we would get dirty from the carpets! The couch was in a similar grotty state. The furniture is tired and in need of an update. The place has so much potential. It just needs a little love. The phone and TV were both broken when we arrived, but were both replaced the next day, along with a bottle of wine. It was just annoying that we had planned to watch a family movie that night about a place we were visiting the next day. The kitchen had the bare minimum of equipment (Perhaps because they want you to eat at their restaurant?).
