Positive: My stay at Monsoon Mist was nothing short of magical. True to its name, the place is wrapped in a gentle, ever changing mist that seems to welcome you the moment you arrive. At times it drifts in softly, almost like nature itself is giving you a warm embrace. Surrounded by lush mountains, the entire setting feels serene, refreshing, and deeply calming. Even though I stayed for just one night, it left a lasting impression. The natural beauty of the location is simply breathtaking, making it the perfect escape from the noise of everyday life. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the host. Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, they made sure everything was perfect and that I felt completely at home. That level of hospitality made the stay even more special. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat where nature and comfort come together beautifully, Monsoon Mist is a place I would highly recommend. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

Negative: Can’t think of anything but, honestly everything was wonderful. If I had to suggest one small improvement, it would be to include a traditional Kerala (“nadan”) breakfast option 😋that would make the experience even more special and complete.😊

Positive: This has been, without doubt, one of the best hotel we have ever stayed at! The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, the view on the tea plantation is beautiful, and, perhaps most importantly for us, the rooms are incredibly clean! Also, Jess and Fibin are amazing hosts and we immediately felt at ease with them, they are very friendly and easygoing and want to make sure that their guests are happy. Also, it was incredible to see how much love they put into every small detail - the pillows and paintings all fit the vibe of each room and Jess uses her own cardamon - clove based aroma spray to make the rooms smell nice and fresh, without using any chemicals! If the view is particularly important for you, choose a room with a kitchen, as those rooms have the best views, but apart from that, all rooms, including the one without kitchen, are very beautiful and extremely clean. So, if you want to spend some relaxing days surrounded by tea plantations and with kind hosts, do not hesitate and stay with Jess and Fibin at the Monsoon Mist 😃

Positive: Well maintained and luxurious interiors. I mentioned to the staff during a casual conversation that I will be leaving early in the morning by 05:00 Am and was surprised to find him waiting for me at the reception by 05:00 Am, he had woken up at 04:30Am and was waiting to assist me with the bags.
