Positive: Location and style with a lot of history. Was clean.

Negative: Was starting to look a bit tired. Styling internally was interesting. Staff were a mix of experienced and youth with the latter being most prevalent. Automatic doors not working. Restaurant was very poor quality in terms of food and service. In fact the waiter insulted me upon entering the restaurant. 4star is a push but not the first time I’ve seen this in Italy. Spa was dated and could do with revamp.

Positive: Nice staff and rooms.

Negative: Not enough staff. There were 3 weddings each of our 2 days - staff was more concerned with these parties than individual guest stays. No AC - we alerted the office, they sent someone to check, but did nothing. Had to carry our own bags from the upper parking area into the hotel upon arrival and departure. There was supposed to be a bar - but we could only havie drinks in the breakfast room.

Summary: All in all, very disappointed. The front desk staff was great, service was lacking otherwise.
