Summary: We love getting away from it all. This house was "away" from it all, but close enough to Glacier NP, Polson, Flathead Lake, kayaking, horse back riding, white water rafting (There was some driving involved, but isn't that expected in Montana!). Upon our arrival we were able to view from the upper balcony, the valley below holding the beautiful Flathead Lake, seeing the magical town lights and luckily fireworks on the lake!!! It was gorgeous! The house is amazing and the kitchen is to die for! I cooked many breakfasts on the induction stove There are so many outdoor spaces to decompress, from the wrap around porch, to the back patio. I made sure to drink a cup of coffee in each one of them. Landscaping is a beautiful oasis as I'm a gardener. The views out of every window are stunning from Flathead Lake, to Red Lake (dry when we visited), the butte, and the horses that come visit typically consistent in the evening near the property's. borders, Make sure to view the stars bw 1-2am. On a clear night they are so bright, low in the sky, twinkle, in great numbers and just breathtaking. We even saw a shooting star!!! Highly recommend this house. Our teenage daughter loved the futon bed, our son his own room and my husband and I loved the floor to ceiling windows in master bedroom. We had a doe come up to the window one night. A female elk also visited the graze line of the property at dusk. Additionally, we heard the elk and their "calls". Truly an amazing home.

Summary: We had a terrific stay! Incredibly clean, well appointed mountain retreat with a 10+ view of Flathead Lake. Chad was a responsive host and sent easy to follow directions before we arrived. If you flyin via Kalispell grab groceries/ beverages - slim pickings once you leave the city. We gave a 4 not 5 for location because for us, it was a bit of a drive to get places. We were in town for a wedding at Lake Mary Ronan Resort. (It’s close - on the main road in Proctor, 15-20 mins) FANTASTIC CHEF at the lodge, we highly recommend reservations if you plan to grab dinner there, the staff is amazing. Place also has a back patio, grill and fire pit. We would return in a heartbeat. Coffee in the morning on the front porch was the best.

Summary: This is a beautiful home and location. It was clean, well appointed, had many conveniences and the communication with the property manager was prompt and helpful. We would stay here again and HIGHLY recommend it . Would love a small guide to the things we need to know about property (garbage, appliance specifics, water pressure and how it may be affected by filter change. etc) . Included in that, it might be fun to know about the history of the home. We had a great time! And....we named the cat that came around "Bob"!! Have fun!

Summary: After spending over a year of stress and lockdown from the COVID pandemic, it was a real treat to escape to the peace, quiet, and nature of Montana. The property offered a beautiful view of the scenic landscape from any room in the house, including mountains, lakes, and forest. There was an abundance of wildlife such as deer, elk, turkeys, and etc. The house was designed perfectly to entertain family and friends. The greatest impression was the friendliness and welcoming attitude of all the people of Montana. As a senior citizen it was like stepping back in time to what America use to be with the patriotism, pride, and caring people. This was a great rural setting and we hope we can visit again in the future. The host was very accommodating and assisted in making our stay enjoyable!
