Summary: The Hacienda is a breathtaking property, tucked up in the Andalusian hills away from everything. Olive trees stretch out in every direction, and the peace and quiet is truly breathtaking. Our group of thirteen had use of the very handy kitchen outbuilding, and very quickly found ourselves in a homely rhythm here. We had the most relaxing time spent cooking, enjoying the gorgeous pool and sitting under the massive sky at night. Plentiful shooting stars: tick. It's not too far a drive from Granada and some nearby towns, all of which have interesting things to offer, which our gracious hosts were very helpful in pointing out. Tracie and Jay are the loveliest pair, full of tips and always on hand to assist with any questions we had. Well beyond handing over the keys, they set us up with some massages (Toni is a dream!), pointed us toward an epic tasting menu at a true gem of a restaurant a couple towns over, and even hooked us up with some charcoal for BBQing on a Sunday when everywhere was closed. Perfect for a large group wanting to role play a bit of idyllic commune life! In the best possible sense, you feel so unplugged from normal life up on this hill that to see the Hacienda in the rearview for the last time - even after just one week - feels like leaving home. It would be a real treat to return one day.

Summary: We visited with friends and family for two weeks - we could have stayed forever! Tracey & Jay have created something that will take your breath away while also making you feel at home. The property is phenomenal. Furthermore (& for us, equally as important) - the hosts are stupendous. Available to help as much or as little as you like, knowledgeable, friendly and simply very very cool! This was a beautiful holiday which we will never forget.

Summary: We booked this house for a family holiday of 12, with the group ranging from age 7 to 73. It has real character and the facilities are excellent. Wonderful pool, which we all enjoyed (easy step access) and the two gazebos gave much needed shade for those not swimming. The owners Tracie and Jason couldnt have been more helpful, and were very easy to contact. The surroundings were beautiful, very peaceful and the house provides so many areas from which you can enjoy the views. We would highly recommend asking Tracie to organise a visit by her chef, who was lovely. She created a lovely meal and birthday cake to celebrate the 8th birthday of my daughter, and Tracie and Jason also gave my daughter a present, which was especially kind. The chef cooked 3 further times, the meals were superb and excellent value. The local town of Montefrio was charming and we very much recommend the Pollo asador (rotisserie chicken) from the vendor there (only available friday to monday, and needs to be pre booked) Also make sure you visit the Alhambra in Granada (50 mins away), and Granada itself. We would all highly recommend this property, not only for its location and character, but also for the support of Tracie and Jason both during the booking process and during the stay. Summary: Myself and a group of 12 friends stayed at Hacienda and absolutely loved it . The location is remote and beautiful -no traffic or polution just nature. We had a flamenco night with paella and dancing and a couple of trips out to Granada and Cordoba. The house is beautiful, feature rich and the pool area was amazing - one of my friends brought his guitar and we enjoyed many an evening singing our hearts out under the stars. Montefrio town is really pretty and well worth a visit to the beautiful churches and olive factory - the olive oil was to die for and great to take home as a reminder. Really recommend this place if you are a big family or group looking to get away from the city and soak up the sun and tranquility of this undisturbed jewel of a place.
