Positive: It was an amazing house. Very quirky and had great facilities. The pool was exactly what we needed. We didnt have time to use the paddle boards but loved that these were available. It accommodated our group well.

Negative: If there was any downside to the house it would be that the stairs were a bit steep and so had to be very careful going up and down but I think that was part of the charm of the house.

Positive: Great location with fully stocked store within walking distance. Roomy, comfortable house with well stocked kitchen. We were able to cook several meals and eat on the large covered patio, with a tropical backyard and clean pool to cool off! Good wi-fi for those of us who needed to stay connected.

Negative: No AC but large fans kept rooms fairly cool at night. A shower curtain in master bath would improve privacy from large window while showering. Stairs to upstairs rooms are a little steep and narrow for those with mobility issues but there is an accessible bedroom on first floor.

Summary: Great spot for a group vacation, we stayed 5 nights and felt at home and hope to return someday!

Positive: It was spacious, and the lagoon access was great. We paddled out and enjoyed the lagoon. It’s as close to the rays/sharks as you can get and great part of the island.

Negative: It had a lot of cobwebs/bugs in the windows/vents/rafters, no air conditioner and no spare fans around to keep it comfortable inside, we couldn’t get hot water in one of the showers and the igniter on the stove didn’t work, so you need to use a lighter. There are some tricks to appliances that should have been explained for troubleshooting (portable gas tanks and we had to swap both during our stay). I also didn’t like the wire transfer payment, I’d have preferred to just bring cash or use Venmo or cash app or something that didn’t charge me an extra $50 in bank fees and hour on the phone to set it up with my bank.

Summary: Big house, great part if the island, not as good a value as other places we stayed at in FP.
