1 Bedroom Cabin in Wilkesville, Radcliff

Located in the least populated most densely forested county in Ohio. This 750 square foot open space “cabin” sits on 5 acres. 1/2 mile to Vinton Furnace State Forest. Comes with full kitchen, sleeping for up to six (queen-size bed and bunk bed with Double bed bottom/twin top, sixth person on cot or couch). Dining area, island bar, desk, washer and dryer, sectional, Wi-Fi, smart tv, and much more. There is a picnic table, grill, fire pit and 1/2 mile of walking trails. Many other amenities.
The water is "county water" and not from a well. So it is safe to drink out of the tap.
Sometimes the cleaners need more time for checkins on Sundays because that is their services busiest day. If they are done at 4pm, then feel free to check in - but if they are still working, they are always done by 5pm at the latest. Again - this only applies to Sunday, the rest of the week they are always done by 4pm.

There is one security camera facing out from the cabin onto the driveway only. The security is great though - there has not been a single trespasser on the property in the entire time we have owned it.
There are also one trail cam down the hill (depending on their battery life).

Summary: My husband and I spent Thanksgiving at the cabin and it was wonderful! The cabin itself is beautiful and very well cared for. The ground and trails are exactly what we needed. We enjoy antiquing and the surrounding area is rich with nice antique stores. Mark clearly takes pride in his cabin and makes sure you have all the amenities you'll need for a very comfortable stay. We will definitely return the next time we need a get-a-way! Mark and family, thanks for everything!!

Summary: Mark and Stephanie created such a warm and relaxing cabin experience on their property. We rented this property for my birthday weekend, and it was better than I expected! They had all of the amenities you could need, and responded fast if we had any questions or concerns. We hope to come back in the coming years!

Summary: We had a great stay here. We felt so at home our dogs did as well. It was very private, very quiet and relaxing. Absolutely the best getaway we've had in quite a while. I would highly recommend anyone that wants to get away consider staying here. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. The property and the trails were awesome. The owners are very friendly and had great communication with us. Our whole overall experience the week we were there was just awesome. We will definitely be going back next year. Hopefully for 2 weeks instead of one.

Summary: This place has everything you need top to bottom. Wether you plan to stay a week, or just a couple days. Property itself is absolutely a little slice of heaven. It's clean, remote but not too far from neighboring towns and tourist destinations and the owners are just delightful.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in "more than a hunting cabin". It was clean, very well organized, and very well stocked. It has all the necessities to make your stay easy and comfortable. The campfire and picnic table is a big asset to the property. The swing set is very nice for children, and close to the fire pit so the children can play while enjoying the fire. The grill came in really handy, because it rained and we couldn't have a camp fire. We loved the homey touch of the battery operated candles/lanterns. We had them burning while we played the games provided for our enjoyment. It's about a 25 minute drive to Hocking hills, so you can still be way out in the country, but yet enjoy the trails etc. Mark is a super host, and very quick to respond when we contacted him with any questions. We will definitely recommend the cabin to others.
