Positive: Plenty of parking, great staff and a reasonable breakfast

Negative: The restaurant has closed, no alternative except the local petrol station. No bar available which could at least have sold sandwiches or other alternatives. Breakfast Luke warm, served in the bar. Please provide a microwave for those who like their breakfast piping hot

Positive: Room was clean and of a good size. Bed was comfy and we slept well. Breakfast was tasty and well cooked.

Negative: The hotel is looking a bit tired but is clean and good value for the room rate. Extractor in the bathroom didn`t work. really sad the pub and restaurant adjoining is no longer open as some of the local eateries left quite a lot to be desired.

Positive: Chris at reception was brilliant. Rooms very clean. Underfloor heating in the bathroom very welcome - lovely clean towels and water very hot.

Negative: Pillows a bit aged and need replacing. WiFi non-existent.

Positive: First room that we had booked had obviously not been cleaned as there was milk containers on the floor and under the bed. I complained and we were given another room instead.

Negative: Could do with painting as a lot of scuff marks , rooms very tired and basic. We booked breakfast & was told it was between 8-10. We went for breakfast at 9 and there was no buffet style full English left . We asked the chef and he cooked us a breakfast but there was no sausage left . Cooked breakfast left a lot to be desired .Very disappointed
