Welcome to Maison de Jardin, a five bedroom property located in north Prospect Hill area with lots of charm and vintage French interiors! Walking distance to Yale shuttle , Albertus Magnus and beautiful Edgerton Park. Private outdoor space surrounded by mature landscapes adds a quiet area to unwind and relax. A great place for large groups and families with all the amenities of a home away from home!
The Space:
Entrance foyer leads to a staircase on one side with French doors opening to a formal living room with fireplace, and on the other side French door leads into the dining room. Updated kitchen with brand new appliances, remodeled full bath on second floor. All rooms fully furnished with central heat and air conditioning and all necessary amenities. For those who bring work home there are desks and wireless internet. For at-home entertainment we provide short term guest ready smart TV’s.
Guest Access:
The entire house is for your enjoyment. The garage, supplies closets and utility rooms are not available for guest access.
Getting Around:
Yale is about 2-3 minutes drive. Two blocks away from Yale Shuttle (Blue and Yellow line), a free shuttle that will take you to Yale University and downtown New Haven where you can visit museums, restaurants, and shops. Five minute walk to Albertus Magnus College and its track, gym, pool, tennis. It’s 7 minutes drive to Southern Connecticut University, 15 minutes drive to University of New Haven.

Summary: other reviews noted charming house and garden — we’d completely agree. the indoor plants are lovely and the coffeemachine were very welcome in the morningHOWEVER, the house was cold and the one thermostat downstairs didn’t help. challenging enough to manage 10pax and 1 bathroom but practically a nightmare with both the tub and sink drains clogged. flagged this to make energy immediately but no action taken before we checked out.

Summary: The house was a great place to stay and had everything we needed. The bedroom on the main level had the most comfortable mattress. I’m sure the other ones were good too that’s just only one we slept on. The host was very helpful and responsive. The front garden was a little over grown but all the plants were beautiful. Each bedroom was decorated to cutely. Thank you!

Summary: This was an amazing find for our weekend. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed a lovely night by the firepit in the spacious back yard, and everyone slept like a baby. We look forward to staying there again in the future

Summary: We were a group of 8 in town for a reunion. This property was super clean and the rooms were well appointed. We had everything we needed including tea, coffee and oatmeal in the morning. The yard was lovely, but we did not get to use it much. Great stay!

Summary: Home was beauitful with so much space! Plenty of beds and the backyard is the best! Pretty lights, enchanted garden, comfy patio by fire pit + there was croquet and badmitton. We all loved it, thanks for having us!
