Summary: The room was well updated with plenty of extras which was nice. The hot water takes a very long time to get warm. The shower was very slippery so perhaps a mat would be helpful. Loved the heated bathroom floor.

Summary: I did a good amount of research, and I was very pleased with my choice of hotel. The place - and the whole town - are really charming! Note: Absolutely confirm with the hotel prior to arriving ... The front desk isn't always open, so you need codes to enter the hotel and your room.

Summary: I wasn’t aware there was no elevator. We are seniors and had to put a few belongings in à big to carry up since we couldn’t carry our suitcases.

Summary: This is a beautifully restored property, done in an early 20th-century style, that made us feel like the developers understood what weary travelers need to feel cared for. In addition to the plush, firm but well-padded king-sized bed with an abundance of pillows, the suite featured a kitchenette with high-quality dishware, sink, and microwave; a living room with loveseat, desk, and TV; an additional alcove with a sofabed; multiple closets; and (best of all) a luxurious bathroom with two sinks, adequate shelving, a padded bench, high quality shower over tub (with hinged glass door), and separate water closet. The decorative touches completed the experience, including a period chandelier over the bed.

Summary: Great hotel! We wanted an upscale boutique stay along I-5 in Northern California and the Mossbrae was a jackpot. Cute little town with restaurants, a microbrewery, and if you are lucky (like we were), live music. Its a beautiful spot and is 15 degrees cooler than Redding or Medford OR

Summary: The room was spacious with good natural lighting and had a very modern and efficient heating/cooling system for an old building. The location downtown was also very convenient.

Summary: You will be amazed. Beautiful restored building in sleepy town or Dunsmir right next to the fabulous camping fly fishing store and down the road from Mt Shasta. (Only things I might change- the dish (Blue dawn) and hand soap and towels - more icky soap!-in the was fake and didn't smell at all good and weren't in keeping with the beautiful ambiance. The new windows on the facade were fake aluminum and didn't go with the restored building.)

Summary: The Hotel and our room was high end classy but yet very comfortable and homey at the same time. The bathrooms were amazing!! They had all the amenities of home down to having Q-tips in the bathroom. The heated bathroom floors were so nice when getting out of the shower. Rachel was a wonderful host and was more than helpful when letting us know of places to eat and places to sight see. Her store in the lobby was very nice and quaint with all local vendors products. If we are ever in the Shasta area again we will be staying here!
