Summary: It's a cheap hotel. No shampoo or soap in the shower, TV didn't even have a remote, beds had some stains on them that made me question, it's a rundown cheap hotel. You get what you pay for.

Summary: The staff was more than accomodating when we arrived with our 3 large dogs based on policies listed on Expedia only to find a sign in the lobby stating they only allow dogs 20lbs and under. We explained why we were in the area but let them know we would find other arrangements (we understand why these rules are put in place). The lady at the front desk asked a few questions, then let us know the dogs wouldn't be an issue. Huge relief!! Our room was basic but clean, which was pretty much what we expected, so no worries there. It was also really quiet considering the location. The only complaint we could have had was that the air conditioner in the room was rather ourdated and very loud, but it served its purpose so it wasn't a big deal. The only reason we're giving a 4 star review instead of 5 is because the hotel grounds really needed some help. We felt safe while we were there (even walking the dogs later at night or early in the morning), but there was trash and dog feces everywhere (thanks, other guests for making those dang no pets policies more and more likely). We get that the motel staff more than likely tries there best to keep the area clean, but it wouldn't be fair not to list this as an area of needed improvement. The motel does service large trucks and buses and is close to the main highway going through Mesquite but again, our stay was quiet and the location was very convenient. We would definitely stay again in the future if we come back to the area!
