Summary: I've used Motel6 The Dalles once or twice a year for several years. The motel is basic but very well maintained. The hard flooring in the rooms greatly aids cleanliness and neatness. The air conditioner was very effective and reasonably quiet, which is a good thing because The Dalles is hot, dry and windy throughout the summer. The pool is small but has a clear glass enclosure to protect from the wind. Check in and check out went smoothly. I have no complaints; for a reasonable price, you get a clean well-maintained room.
