Summary: I realize that Motel 6 is a very basic chain but most that I have stayed in are clean and not in disrepair. But this room was missing the bedside lamps that all motels/hotels have even though the holes were there. The shower hadn’t been cleaned in a while and there was hair in the drain and along the edge. Also the WIFI was iffy at best. The back of the property had boarded up windows. I did not feel safe there. I cannot recommend.

Summary: Motel 6 Topeka wasn't bad for an overnight stay. The front desk clerk was friendly and accomodated our needs traveling with an elderly dog. The room was a little worn down but clean. They allow pets for free which is a perk and they have areas for the pets to go outside. The area itself isn't too bad, right off of I70. Overall not a bad place for an overnight stay

Summary: The room was small but fine for a solo. Clean and modern. Included a microwave & refrigerator, but no coffee maker. They could have provided complimentary paper cups and single serve instant coffee. We all know how to make coffee in the microwave. I really liked the shower. Also, no electric outlet near the desk for my laptop, so I unplugged the microwave and used that outlet.
