Nestled in the heart of the quaint historical Breton village of Guéméne sur Scorff, this guest house has been lovingly restored and offers 17th century architecture mixed with chic contemporary style creating elegant and inviting bedrooms. Located just next door to our very own bistro/restaurant, Aux Sabots Rouges, we offer 4 charming bedrooms that have been specifically designed, styled and decorated by us with luxury and comfort as a priority. Guest have the choice of a continental breakfast, or a cooked full English breakfast prepared in our professional kitchen. On request, we offer special luxury hampers for those special occasions, including, flowers, champagne and chocolates set up in your room for arrival. The breakfast table: Breakfast is served in the cosy front room downstairs that has a street view of the centre of the village. In the summer and when the restaurant is open, guests can choose to eat outside on the front terrace, or in the courtyard located out the back. Our superb breakfast is prepared every day in our professional kitchen, and is served with freshly made coffee from our professional coffee machine (cappuccino, café latte etc), or a selection of teas. Please note: breakfast is not included. From Wednesday – Sunday, guests have the option of dining for lunch and dinner in our very own Aux Sabots Rouges, which is located just down stairs/next door, or four other restaurants in the village.
There are a number of beautiful walks to the surrounding countryside right from the doorstep. Cyclist routes are close by with the Nantes Brest Canal just north from us. The beautiful beaches along the south Brittany coastline are only a 45 minutes drive away and the north coast is just over an hour away. Lac du Guerledan is only 30 minutes up the road and offers many activities; from relaxing and sunning yourself, to messing about in the water, canoeing, bike riding to taking one of many magnificent walks. This is the ideal location to explore what Brittany has to offer.
Each room is equipped with its own en-suite/bathroom with private toilet and shower, LED flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi connection, a bed of 180cm x 200cm (or 90cm x 200cm), heating, seating, coffee and tea making facilities
