Positive: The Mount Gambier Hotel is definitely not your normal pub accommodation. Our "shoebox" room was well appointed with ample room in both the bedroom and the bathroom. Our only disappointment is that we did not stay another night to enjoy the facilities and the amazing wineries.

Positive: The property was beautiful, elegant and clean. Wilma in reception was absolutely wonderful. Not saying this just because of the complimentary upgrade we got for a king’s deluxe, which was elegant and spacious but hotel is in a great location and the stay was perfect. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. We were also lucky to get food half price during week.
Negative: Nothing negative to comment at all.
Summary: Elegance and affordability in a brilliant location.

Positive: Clean, quiet, good customer service, delicious food (loved the chips!), great central location. Highly recommend and one of my favourite spots to stay in Mt Gambier. It's not my first stay and won't be my last.
Negative: I wish that a face washer was provided, it is the only thing that I find lacking. This time they unfortunately did not have a pen provided in the room, but I was advised that they were in the process of rectifying this when I enquired. I also had an issue with my breakfast where elements of the meal were missing (I ordered the breakfast green bowl and the avocado and hummus were missing). But these issues are splitting hairs really, all in all it was a great stay.
