Explore Tahoe in the fall, beautiful weather, not as busy-our favorite season.
The Atraori chalet features an open living room with a gas stove surrounded by a natural stone hearth, cozy seating, wood floors, natural wood accents and mountain style décor. The adjacent kitchen has seating for 4 at the breakfast bar and a dining table that seats four. Efficiently designed so the cook may prepare meals for the family on the gas stove.
There is a slider and a side door to access the deck, BBQ and hot tub.
There are two comfortable bedrooms and a full bath on the main floor.
The upstairs features a loft with two futons, a great spot for the kids to gather and play (or to using as an extra sleeping area). The third bedroom is upstairs with a king sized bed tucked under the vaulted ceiling. There is a second bath upstairs with a shower stall.
The Atroari chalet is conveniently located two blocks off of Pioneer Trail, it's 15-20 minute drive to Heavenly Village, Heavenly Ski Resort and Stateline. It is approximately 20 minutes to Sierra At Tahoe, and 40 minutes to Kirkwood. For the hikers, mountain bikers or other outdoor enthusiasts the trail head to Onedias St/Fountain Place trails is two blocks away. In the winter there are miles of trails for snow shoeing and cross country skiing. Lake Tahoe Golf Course is an easy drive (just a few minutes) away.
If the family is looking for a peaceful spot to gather together to relax and play this cabin may just be the spot for you. It is located approximately 5 minutes from the community of Meyers with local favorite restaurants: The Getaway Cafe, The Divided Sky (bar and restaurant) Freel Perk Coffee Shop, Frescana Mexican Bistro, Bob Dog Pizza and Sombrero's Mexican. Holiday Market is a fully stocked grocery store.
In the summer there are two nearby golf courses: Tahoe Paradise Golf Course and Lake Tahoe Golf Course.
In the winter there Tahoe Tube is open on the Tahoe Paradise Golf Course.

When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared.
Our snow removal crews work every day, but we have no control over the county road snowplows that clear the roads..
4WD and or chains are always recommended. If you come in a small, low-profile vehicle you may have difficulties.
Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. We provide lanterns, but sometimes they disappear (or batteries vanish)

Summary: Neighborhood is great, close to the outstanding trail network at the end of Oneidas (Corral trail, Armstrong, Toads). We had some issues after checking in, but Michelle took care of them quickly and made things right with us. Thanks Michelle!

Summary: We loved how close we were to South Lake Tahoe, however there were several things that were unexpected. 1. After messaging the host for check-in instructions and getting not response for 3hrs, we called 2 hrs prior to check-in, then head to call again 15 mins to check-in and finally got our choice 10mins after check-in. 2. The dishwasher was completely full when we arrived, so we had to empty ourselves 3. There was no Wi-Fi network - we resorted to using our mobile hotspot to watch TV and send emails. *Host said the router was unplugged, yet another thing the cleaners should have checked 4. The quality of linens and furniture was below average & felt as it was furnished on a shoe string budget (not expected for the rates) 5.. Although a video game device was provided, the kids couldn't play because the only game/disk was so scratched out didn't work. We only booked for 2 nights and did enjoy the location and hot tub. This could be a great property with a little TLC from the host. Our suspicion is it's a remote investor that has never been to the house and paying a property management company to do a sub par job.

Summary: Our son and his friends stayed here as their high school post graduation trip. From talking to them they thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Per their feedback, the house was well equipped with various amenities including some basic ingredients like salt, pepper etc to help with cooking. They’ve made lasting memories thanks to good location, good responsive property management company. Thanks!

Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Summary: Decent and neat property with plenty of space for a family of 4 to 6. The place is well ventilated and has all the necessities for a holiday. Kitchen is well lit and has enough space to move & cook. The small dining table in the kitchen is handy. The loft is nice and quiet to read or to watch TV The two bedrooms in the first floor are cosy. Highly recommend the place. It's not too far from the denser parts of town. Great places to eat within a short drive. The host was easy to reach and communicate. The check in and check out process was smooth. The bedroom next to the loft can get a little chilly in winters. Summary: Cabin was clean and had all the necessities. The only complaint we had was maybe purchase mattress toppers for the beds as they were quite firm. Otherwise this was a perfect cabin for our family!

Summary: Overall good experience but kitchen needs work. Pots and utensils were cheap and hard to clean. Need bath mats in the showers. Sliding door hard to open and close. Windows were not hardened against bears, it was easy for one to enter the house.

Summary: We came back to this cabin and had another great time. Love the close proximity to casinos/Heavenly/restaurants. The cabin is clean, has all the kitchen amenities I needed, good mattresses on the beds, and we enjoyed the fireplace and spa! I love the easy lock box check in and our limited interactions with the property management have gone very well.
