3 Bedroom Ski Chalet in Pine Mountain

The Mountain House is a three level chalet located on one of the highest points of Pine Mountain, midway between the quaint Georgia towns of Warm Springs, home of Roosevelt's Little White House, and Pine Mountain, home of Callaway Gardens Resort. Our Chalet features two bedrooms plus a loft with a queen size bed, one and a half baths, a fully equipped kitchen and a finished lower level with wonderful stone fireplace (firewood provided) and lots of books for all ages and toys and games. Enjoy the high ceilings, open main living area and the wrap around deck with wooded views. The towns of Pine Mountain and Warm Springs are very visitor friendly with Southern hospitality, regional restaurants (we do love our Bar-B-Que!) and specialty shopping and antiquing.

Summary: Accurately described, big, they have just about everything you could possibly need. Flowers and plants all around. We deer out back the first morning. The host was super helpful and communication was perfect.

Summary: This property was clean and appeared to be well maintained. The only negative was I didn't understand that the third bedroom was a loft room. However my adult son didn't object to sleeping up stairs. The owner provided vary types of coffee and tea and two types of coffee makers. Over all our stay was very good.

Summary: Near Callaway Gardens, Wild Animal Safari, great hiking and about anything you might wish to do in the area. The home is equipped better than average for children inside. (They loved the play area downstairs.) The deck outside is a bit rickety, but we were away on excursions during the day, so not overly concerning for our group.

Summary: Beautiful place! We loved the layout! Enjoyed the fire place downstairs and watching movies. Such a great selection of coffee included and paper products were appreciated! Also enjoyed the Callaway water waiting for us cold in the fridge! The host was so nice when we locked ourselves out of the unit and he was happy to help us get back in. So easy to work with! We loved our stay and hope to come back again in the future! Thank you!

Summary: Perfect for my family of 5 plus 2 dogs. The fireplace and downstairs were cozy and plenty of things to do. Separate sleeping spaces is important for us. Hiking and restaurants less than 15 minutes away. Plenty of paper products and disposable ware so no one had to do dishes! Really enjoyed our stay and the owners communicated very timely.

Summary: My wife and I and our dog stayed here for three nights in March. We chose the property primarily because it is midway between FDR's Little White House and Callaway Gardens, the two attractions we visited during our stay. The place was bigger than we needed, so we had more than enough room. It is set in a pretty wooded area, and it was very peaceful. My only criticism is that it could have been a bit cleaner, and I think that was primarily due to the fact that it is much too cluttered with things that guests do not need, resulting in a lack of space to set one's own things while visiting. Otherwise, it was a great place, and I certainly would consider staying there again if my travels brought me back to this area.
