5 Bedroom House in Astugue

A 620-meter mountainside overlooking the altitude Oussouet Valley, the house enjoys an incomparable view of the Pyrenees. You will benefit from its southern exposure, its exceptional views over the surrounding countryside and calm. We sometimes see deer and deer graze in the meadow in front!
This comfortable house recently renovated 165 m² with 5 bedrooms and 2 ha of land, where sheep graze in a fenced meadow, can accommodate up to 12 people, while respecting the privacy of each. Its large kitchen is particularly open to the landscape, thanks to its bow window. Its wooden terrace of 45m2 facing south and equipped with a large table with benches allows you to enjoy the view and the slightest ray of sunshine, winter and summer.
For skiing, the resort of La Mongie, where it is possible to leave its rented equipment, is located 35 'from our house; a shuttle bus is also set up in Bagnères de Bigorre (10 'by car from our rental: 2 shuttles in the morning and 2 shuttles in the afternoon to La Mongie).

Summary: Such a great location for visits & touring in the Pyrenees. A well equipped and comfortable house which was ideal for our party of seven . Many happy memories of our time there around the table enjoying food ,wine and good company with that beautiful view from the balcony.

Summary: First and foremost the beauty of the location of this house is outstanding. Sitting on the wooden deck outside the house, there is nothing between you and the view of the surrounding mountains. It is as if everything has disappeared and left you with nature at its best. The house itself is very big, the living room is spacious, comfortable and very nicely furnished with windows opening onto the surrounding mountains. The kitchen is large and very well equipped, the bathrooms are modern and very comfortable with ample space for everything you need, and the beds were comfortable. We are into hiking and there are endless trails in the area at all levels. The perfect weather was a bonus. Thierry, the owner's representative, was waiting for us as agreed and a special thanks to Elsa, the owner, for thinking to send over sheets and towels. I hadn't noticed that these were not included, but somehow she guessed it and sent them over with Thierry. He was lovely, gave us a lot of information and told us not to hesitate to call if we needed him. We didn't. Everything was perfect. My dream is to come over again with my kids and grandkids. Thank you Elsa for a wonderful stay!
