Positive: After several weeks of looking for affordable property in Ketchum for FIS finals this gem poped-up. One and only review of property was not good, but we took our chances and we were blown away how comfortable it was. Location is perfect, 200 yards from bus stop that brings you to ski slopes, 3 bedrooms, each on separate floor - would be nice if our kids could join this time. Neighbors that care and are ready to help, chgat, give recomendation. for summer there is apool and a creek, right on the bike path. plenty of dishes to cook at home, and all the spices. Good coffee machine. And owner is really nice and caring). Management company (vacasa) is doing its job (keeping it clean) and ready, easy check in and all those details
Negative: After reading bad review from previous tenant we tried to look for negative things but couldnt find something to complain. We even called our friends on facetime to joke about and concluded that some people are just weird about reviews
Summary: Will be back for FIS finals in 2027 for sure

Positive: We liked the pool for the boys and each bedroom had access to a private bath. The creek front was also a bonus. The kids played in the creek while we waited for the unit to be ready.
Negative: There are 5 levels to the property. Each room had a level. There were 32 stairs from the entry to the primary bedroom on the top level. The furniture, especially the couch, needs a refresh. It is low to the ground and has had quite a bit of use. One of the night lamps in the primary bedroom did not work and the bed had no head board. It was too hot to turn on the overhead lights as the bulbs were very warm and heated up the room even more. This is not so great of a property in the summer as it does not have cooling. I did not pay close enough attention to the listing to note it was lacking air. But the pool was a must with the kids. However all the levels cooled pretty good (except the primary bedroom on the top level) when the sun set and we could get a cross breeze. The primary bedroom was 10 to 15 degrees warmer than the lower levels because it had no cross ventilation. A fan was provided after the first night which was loud and took several hours to cool the room. The heat was a bit of an issue for me since it was in the mid 90’s. I am sure it is cozy and warm during the ski season. The property suited as a good home base during our brief visit to Ketchum.
Summary: The pool was a hit with the kids. The lack of air and old and overused furniture was not good for our summer visit. The
