Positive: We stayed in a charming two-bedroom chalet that exuded a rustic yet elegant ambiance. The chalet was meticulously clean and comfortable, featuring an open fully equipped kitchenette. The staff at the chalet were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay truly enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed the game and garden tour, which provided us with a great opportunity to explore the surroundings. The breakfast was a highlight of our trip in South Africa. It was prepared with freshly picked vegetables from the chalet’s garden, and it was one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had. One area for improvement would be enhancing the WiFi signal, but overall, we highly recommend this place for a peaceful staycation or getaway.

Positive: We had such a lovely stay at Mountain Pastures Game Lodge! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, which made us feel right at home. The apartment was absolutely perfect – beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and we enjoyed a wonderful night’s rest on very complete beds. It was a very cold winter’s day, but we kept cozy with a crackling fire in the fireplace and the added comfort of electric blankets that made our beds wonderfully warm. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touch of finding fresh milk and some delicious rusks waiting for us in the kitchen. One of the highlights was spending time in the guest lounge, where we were able to chat and get to know other guests – such a lovely touch that made the experience feel personal and homely. All in all, it was a memorable stay in a beautiful setting, and we would gladly recommend Mountain Pastures Game Lodge to anyone looking for a welcoming and peaceful getaway.
