Summary: Nice property, food in the fridge could have been removed prior to arrival. Needs a toaster.

Summary: While the home is beautiful and exactly what our family needed during our stay, we arrived late evening to find sheets and towels in the laundry basket ready to be cleaned. We had to wash towels at midnight after a long day of travel. Hair was found in the shower trap. I wondered if it had been cleaned at all. Next morning found mold in the coffee maker so we ran to the store for a French press. When washing bedding of all beds to assure they were clean , one pillow was very soiled when we pulled the pillow case off! Communication with owner was quick but met with indifference as he stated he has had issues with his house cleaning service. No apology. No offer to make the situation right. He did need access to the locked garage while we stayed which seemed odd and uncomfortable. We requested he let us know when he would be there and we were gone during that time. He did communicate well regarding this. The check out instructions were minimal but we left it cleaner that it was when we arrived! I hope the owner is able to correct the cleaning issue because that affects the entire experience! I have had other VRBO experiences and this left me wondering if we would use this service again! A family vacation that was marred by disappointing accommodations.

Summary: We liked the property itself . Check in and communication was great !It served its purpose for us. The reason I didn't give all 5 stars. Both bathrooms were dirty. The bathtub in one bathroom had hairs in it. Both toilets were dirty especially when seat was lifted. I had to clean them both the night we arrived. I also had to clean the coffee maker. It was filthy! The house was for sale so I felt like a few basics were missing. Trash cans, window coverings, extra pillows wall hangings (some areas echoed). We used blankets and sheets to keep the bright sun out in the morning.

Summary: Enjoyed staying. Able to contact host without problems. Would have appreciated information about garbage pickup and included some type of garbage can in the house. Bed was quite comfortable. Had almost everything needed. Did not have a toaster, but that was okay.
