Summary: There were plenty of outlets in the room, which was good. The bed was just the right size, and very clean. The other furniture was a bit shabby, however. The view was very nice; didn't use the pool,, but I would have been glad to if we'd had time. The ice machine was useless. You need to replace it.

Summary: The Mountain Star Lodge is a nature lovers' oasis nestled in the midst of a bustling Austin suburb. The lodge is set back from the road, on a hilltop overlooking a lush green valley full of birds and othe lical wildlife. The accomodations are rustic, but clean and spacious. The small kitchenette was an added bonus. The setting is quiet and peaceful, while being just a couple minutes from upscale shopping, entertainment, and offices. The proprietor "Sonny" was friendly and accomodating. If our travels bring us to the Bee Cave/Dripping Springs area again, we would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Love this family run hotel. Amazing views from your balcony, which is featured in every room. Beautiful pool, very peaceful and tucked enough away from 620 that you forget you’re so close to the bee caves galleria and lakeway shopping. The sunsets are breathtaking. You have got to make sure you stay at this hidden gem next time you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the beautiful hill country!!
