Summary: Lovely property exactly as described. You need a car with some clearance because of the rutted road to the property but we managed in a little Fiat 500 by driving very slowly. Guiseppe gave us lots of information, nothing was too much trouble for him. He lives 10 mins away and sorts out any issues super quick. The pool and the views are amazing. The property has been updated with air conditioning in the bedrooms. It is not clear from the description but there is a washing machine too. In fact there is everything you need save for food and drink. Ciminna is quite small, but is a pleasant town with coffee shops and a couple of restaurants. We travelled to Cefalu and Agrigento for a sandy beach and the Valley of the Temples and there were loads of restaurants in the bigger towns. We used the week to relax by the spotless pool and go out for dinner at night. Nothing opens in the evening until approx 8pm but that suited us. We had a lovely holiday and would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone nice that wants peace and quiet and to stay in a beautiful and comfy property with a private pool.

Summary: We had a lovely two week holiday. Giuseppe was very friendly and went out of his way to help us. The pool is fantastic and very well maintained. The views are magnificent. Fresh figs. House is comfortable. Dining on terrace with lovely view. Plenty of space. Long bumpy drive from road, but the remoteness suited us as a family due to peace and quiet. Highly recommended.

Summary: We had a most relaxing and enjoyable stay. Giuseppe was most helpful in explaining where the sights were and where to go in Ciminna. The villa was clean and tidy and the pool was very clean. Views are excellent and it was great to sit with a glass of wine and relax in the evening admiring the vista. We would recommend for a relaxing break, with many places within an easy drive to go and see.

Summary: From the initial enquiry right through to departure from this wonderful villa, the owner/manager and his associate in England could not have been more gracious. This villa is in a superb location with terrific views over the surrounding countryside, yet only five minutes from Ciminna with its local restaurants, fresh fruit vans, fresh fish vans and of course the local market. Ciminna is ideally located for exploring the historic sites of Northern Sicily or conversely chilling by the sea. The pool at the villa was a blessing, unobtrusively well maintained by the owner, on those long hot Sicilian days, it was great to come back after a day of exploring and cool off. Couple that with al fresco dining on the veranda and this was truly “a room with a view”. Located within its own secure grounds, including the security lighting and automatic gate, almond, plum, fig and olive trees enhance the beauty of the grounds. The nearest neighbours being some distance off which very much complements the beauty of the location and enhances the ever changing vistas. Casa Pepe is exactly as described, it is the perfect “away from it all villa”, and definitely worth a visit, i can assure any potential guest, it would not disappoint.

Summary: Based on the top of a hill with 360 degree views, this villa really is beautiful. The pool is gorgeous and there is plenty of room for sunbathing! My husband and I enjoyed siting out early evening with a glass of wine whilst taking in the breathtaking views. Perfect romantic getaway.
