Summary: Good hotel in easy walking distance from the station and to public transport into the centre. In a quiet area close to offices. Quiet well appointed bed rooms. Nice buffet breakfast and area for drinks and socialising in the evening. Evening meal not the best so suggest eating elsewhere. Minimal staffing, so felt a bit stretched at times. For uk travellers probably comparable to premier inn. Darmstadt a nice city - Matildenhohe very picturesque, lovely Herrengarten park, waldspirale architecture, and fossils in messel - all worth seeing. Excellent public transport - clean, efficient and cheap. Good base to explore the region - had a very enjoyable stay

Summary: Overall, I really liked the place. Reception was very helpful and welcoming. The guy even moved me to a quieter room that worked out well. Breakfast is good too. Five stars so far .... However, there is a serious problem with this hotel: It is impossible to close the room door fully without slamming it! Things weren't bad during the working week, but I wouldn't fancy being woken up at all hours at weekends. This would be a deal breaker for me. Hence the three stars.

Summary: Comfortable bed, quiet neighbours, clean and tidy. Breakfast was fantastic, and the hotel is a short walk from the train station and to Frankfurt in under 20 mins. I would stay again and will recommend to others too. I was a little confused when the "do not disturb" sign was removed from my door and they cleaned my room when I didn't ask.
