Our cozy cabin is ready for anyone with all the amenities of home. Full kitchen, gas grill on deck, 2 private bedrooms with full & King beds, Satellite TV, jetted tub with separate shower, hot tub & fire ring. We provide all cookware & utensils, toilet paper, towels, sheets with washer & dryer. We are located within minutes of a various assortment of walking trails, kayaking, ziplines, sky lift, and other attractions. You also need to try some our local, but well known eating establishments. Our cabin is surrounded by nature, but not secluded. Only minutes from the Mt Parkway. During winter time, we strongly suggest four wheel drive. Come stay with us & make memories you won't forget!

Summary: This place was a perfect little get-a-way for a weekend. Location was great, outside hot tub was awesome, and our host was extremely accommodating. Already looking forward to coming back soon!

Summary: The experience was very easy. Cabin was cleaner than I expected and had everything you’d need. We arrived very late so was a little rough finding it for me in dark but managed to figure it out. Definitely worth it for a getaway weekend or even longer.

Summary: I first would like to start by saying there were a ton of mixed reviews I read before I made the commitment to stay at Mt. Hideaway! Let me tell you.... The hot tub is worth it! We got to sit in the hot tub while it snowed and it was magical! The fireplace was so nice and toasty, it made the cabin really cozy and warm! The beds were conducive for sleep! Maybe bring your own pillow your comfy with, they have pillows that are really thick and some really thin! We were not able to get the DVD player to work, thankfully we brought our own! They had a few DVDs to select if you didn't bring your own and they had cards and checkers and magazines! The washer and dryer both work wonderfully which helped because we were able to wash and dry our swim suits and towels to use for the couple days we stayed. By the way if your thinking of staying it is on a steep hill to get up and down, so it's recommended to have 4 wheel drive! Also not a ton of parking space! One more thought too.... Ya know it did smell just a little musty but we brought a candle and some air freshener and it truly helped a ton! Honestly I would totally come back and do it all over again! (It's so close to everything, very centralized)

Summary: Glad to give this property 5 stars. Loved how peaceful and off the road it is, so quiet. The hot tub was nice and clean. Loved that they left a coffee maker for us, so many little touches. Obviously clean, fresh sheets, bathroom was spotless, sure there was an odor but it wasn't offensive - this isn't a brand new cabin and we were quite comfy. Hubby has designated it his official RRG cabin that we'll return to yearly. Not sure what other reviews were talking about with animal noises, we experienced none of this and slept peacefully. Two things I'll mention as a "downside". This driveway, woo! Small, awkward angle to park, slanted sideways on a steep hill. Upon booking I was advised to reach out to the owner for wifi login details, there was no wifi during our visit, no wifi listed as an available network on my phone or laptop. Reached out to owner via text as suggested in the booking and never heard back from the owner at all during our stay. This area has little to no signal for ATT and T-Mobile, likely most other carriers. Not having wifi was inconvenient and not hearing back from the owner (even if you tell us there's no wifi) was discouraging. The location is ideal if you're here for the Kentucky State Park activities, so close to so much! Bottom line, loved the cabin, bring your 4WD vehicle to get up the entrance and in and out of the parking space, this was a nice cabin to relax the evening away after a full day of outdoor adventures.

Summary: The area was remote and void of service except for wifi at gas stations and restaurants. Cute country area with beautiful hiking galore! Close to Nada tunnel and gorge underground. The hot tub was clean and relaxing! I would stay here again!
