The farmhouse is located a short 12 min drive from Mudgee CBD and only 6 mins from the nearest of Mudgee’s many wineries and cellar doors.
The early 1900’s farmhouse has been well restored and maintained. The farmhouse is fully equipped and furnished to ensure your stay is comfortable and relaxing whilst enjoying the Mudgee region and surrounding areas.
The farmhouse is located on a 170 acre rural property in the picturesque Mudgee Region. The property has 1km of flowing creek running through it, with native animals often seen on the property including kangaroos, wombats, koala and birds. The productive small farm is currently used for grazing of Angus cattle.
The 3 bedroom cottage is suitable for up to 6 guests
Bedding consists of
3 x Queen size beds
All linen and towels provided
Fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, oven, cooktop, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, sandwich press, fridge, microwave, essential pantry items. Outdoor Weber gas BBQ for guests use.
Internal laundry for use if required.
All seasons comfort. Well insulated. Screened windows and doors. Wood fireplace, firewood provided FREE. Reverse cycle air conditioner. Ceiling fans in bedrooms and living area.
Large covered verandahs at the front and rear of the farmhouse provide comfortable seating for relaxing. Large house yard with shady trees and a vegetable and herb garden.

Summary: We recently enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at Bundilla and were delighted with our accomodation. The property is an easy drive from central Mudgee and close to wineries - providing an excellent base to discover the region. We felt completely welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Lovely stay at Mt Knowles. Easy access to wine regions, and a 15 minute drive into town. Our only disappointment was this is not a two bathroom home, as advertised. It is one bathroom. There is a second toilet only in the laundry. Open fire was lovely.

Summary: The property is just beautiful from the house and all the amenities to the gorgeous grounds. We stayed over Christmas and Kris and Tony decorated the house for Christmas which was really special for our little girls. The house has everything you could need just like home and communication with the hosts was seamless. We especially enjoyed going for walks and the girls loved searching for rabbits in the morning. The property is also close to an array of wineries and Mudgee centre. My family has fallen in love with Mudgee thanks to Bundilla and we hope to stay again. Thank you Kris and Tony for sharing your lovely home with us!

Summary: Bundilla cottage is cosy and comfortable. Everything is clean, renovated and furnished beautifully, comfortable beds, great couches in the lounge, a superbly warm working slow combustion fire with plenty of pre-cut timber, a really well equipped kitchen with all the appliances and crockery and glassware you could need, along with lots of staples and condiments. Having a second toilet in the laundry was a good feature. We enjoyed restful rural scenery and birds singing as we sat on the sunny front deck in the morning. Thank you Kris for fast and really helpful communication. We really enjoyed our stay over the Mudgee Cycle Classic weekend.

Summary: The location of the cottage is great, 15 min to town and surrounding location beautiful. The house was clean with everything you need and more. Really gave the cosy country cottage feel. We all had a great and comfortable time. My only recommendation is to pay attention to the instructions on how to locate the property as the navigation takes you down the wrong road but it was all part of the adventure.
