Summary: While I gave the property poor ratings, this place has potential and the owners are actively attending/cleaning to a few things around the area. It looks like the property was recently bought and still being put together as they continue to run the business. There is a small swing set and what looks to be a play house for the kids but I'd recommend some supervision for younger children. The cottages themselves are nice. Full kitchen, including a full sized fridge and stove. It has lovely decor. Mine included a pullout couch. There was a small Google TV. The kitchen had a toaster, and microwave! Not sound proof

Summary: Great place. Had kids at front desk( cute kids) but couldn’t pay, they didn’t have a mashine for visa… went back a few times to pay but couldn’t. Next day at checkout went back and nobody there. Talked to a lady on telephone(number was in the window) and nothing clear from her. We left and came back an hour later and they had put it in my visa on file…. Wish they would have said that’s what they would do. was inconvenient to come back.

Summary: We especially enjoyed having a cottage where we could prepare our own breakfast and cook a dinner. The cottage had everything we needed to be self-sufficient. It was nice to have laundry facilities nearby. We had a few concerns, however, the managers were very responsive and met our needs. The bedroom in cottage 6 had a poster bed with a very firm mattress ( a little too firm for us); I suggest some softer pillows. The cottages are blonde to Prince Edward national park. Check out the Dunes restaurant. Charlottetown is about 12 km away and we lived the these offerings there and watermark theatre in Rustico. It’s a good location for a week of exploring g the island and having a home base.

Summary: I hate to be that guy, but our experience here was not good. Upon walking into the cottage, we thought “ok, nothing fancy but not too bad”. Upon closer inspection, we realized this place was not worth the price paid. The whole place had a musty smell. The washroom was clean-ish, but was in horrible shape. Minimal effort was made to make the washroom even remotely welcoming or nice. There was a shelf screwed to the wall that was beyond crooked (I mean comically crooked). The tub spout wasn’t even attached to the wall. When you pulled on it, you could bang the pipe against the wall on the inside. The tub drain was severely blocked which was a gross discovery mid shower. The cottage was showing serious signs of age, wear & tear. The decor was clearly from the mid 90’s and it’s clear almost nothing has been updated (maybe a couple dollar store pictures on the wall and likely the beds). There is no living room. It’s basically just a small kitchen/dining room with a couch. The TV is mounted high above the fridge (weird angle to the couch) and would not make for a comfortable experience if someone wanted to just sit and watch TV. When I read reviews, I saw mention of a pool. I booked for this reason (having 2 kids). There is no pool. That’s on me for only relying on old reviews. There appeared to be one community fire pit. None near the cottage. Disappointing when you have kids and can’t go far. During the night, the fridge kept making loud banging sounds that would wake us up.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay at in the family cottage. We loved it so much we booked to come back in a few weeks. Even thouugh there is a slight language barrier the owners were very friendly and helpful and check in was a breeze. Definitly a wonderful place to stay.
