5 Bedroom House in West Oak Hill, Austin

Our two acre woodsy property with beautiful pool and spa is perfectly setup to rent to two families at once! We are also in a fabulous location near everything, yet feel like you are out in the country! Only 11 miles from downtown Austin and 15mi. from the airport, but with barbecue and breweries/wineries/distilleries and movie theaters and wedding venues within a 5 minute drive, you may never go downtown. We have the main house with 3bdrms and 2 full baths and then attached below that we have a unique downstairs 1000sqft guest house that sleeps four with one bedroom, full bath and also another kitchen and family room just for that unit and even another private entrance! Perfect if you want to stay with family or friends but not be right on top of each other and have some more space. Multiple patios and decks to dine on and lots of beautiful open space to enjoy each other’s company as well. Gorgeous updates thru out the whole entire home. We use this home as our own personal residence so we take excellent care of this property. We built the downstairs basement apartment to accommodate my parents when they come to visit since they travel a lot. We live in a very quiet neighborhood so if you are wanting to have a party or play loud music at night, this is NOT the right place for that and you will be asked to leave and cancelled immediately. If you are looking to relax with loved ones and be surrounded by nature then this is perfect for you! We can only accommodate a max of ten people total at any time because we are on a smaller septic tank. We are near everything yet feel like we are out in the country!
The upstairs main home has 3 bedrooms. One is a queen, one is a full and the master has a king size bed. We also have a full size crib. It also has 2 full baths, a great charming kitchen looking out to the beautiful yard with big bright windows and a family room that feels like a tree house up a few stairs overlooking the entire yard. The downstairs guest home is beautiful as well, the one bedroom features a queen size bed and the family room has a pull out queen size cabinet murphy bed. Very comfy and not like a sofa bed where you feel springs in your back! It also has a separate full bath, kitchen, dining and family room in the downstairs guest home as well. Views all around as both homes have extensive windows and patios to look upon nature! When you book this listing you are getting both homes with no other guests.

Summary: One of our best VRBO experiences yet! The property was super clean, the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, the house was packed with all sorts of goodies from games to spices, and it was a convenient location near all sorts of fun -- zoo, Starbucks, great restaurants and more. Keele was readily available and responsive at all times which made us feel welcome and comfortable. The downstairs connected unit was perfect for my family as an area to work and the main house fit our family of 6 perfectly. We could not have been more pleased with the set up, the comfortable living spaces, and the large outdoor areas and property. Highly, highly, highly recommended. If you love outdoor spaces, clean homes and comfy places this is the one.

Summary: We were looking for a VRBO that was within our price range that could comfortably sleep 8 people with a pool. The Winter Woods had everything we were looking for and the owners were so gracious in answering all of our pre-trip questions. The pool was divine, a perfect hang out to chill and catch up with everyone in our group! Will definitely look into staying again should we plan another get together in/near Austin!

Summary: What an awesome property!! Keele's house is immaculate, the property is well maintained and even though you're not far from town, you feel like you're out in the country with all the trees and landscape. We stayed with our two kids, their spouses and our grand baby - it was the perfect amount of space for all of us to be together without feeling crowded. We enjoyed the pool and the patio & grill. My grand baby loved going for walks in the "woods" and playing horseshoes. Very peaceful weekend. Thank you Keele for allowing us to borrow your home for a couple of days, we loved it!! Keele was also super quick to respond to any questions :)

Summary: The home was super cute, gorgeous atmosphere, and had everything you could want in a rental. The owner made communication easy and many of our guests are looking to stay here again. It was so easy to step in and feel instantly relaxed. I feel spoiled now. I'm not sure we'll find another rental to measure up to this one.
