Summary: Nice location and great access to bala groceries and shops. Nice little beach. Nice kayaks, older paddle boat, and shallow water for little kids. Cottage is aging and kept up well. Pillows, linens, and beds are basic and adequate. Great air conditioning. Small washer and dryer was a must for two little kids. Host took a while to respond to messages and there were no checkout instructions, even after sending a message, other than depart by 1100 from the checkin message v

Summary: The cottage was as advertised. It was clean, spacious, well stocked and the location was perfect. We had a great weekend, enjoyed all the amenities and loved that it was close / walking distance to everything Bala has to offer.

Summary: We stayed from July 21-28, 2022. We were 2 families including my daughter and 2 small children who loved it there. They woke up and went right to the water every day. The rooms are all very spacious. The configuration of the bedrooms was great especially for families with small children. The entire process was very easy. The pictures posted are exactly what you get. Everything is in walking distance, food shopping, LCBO, Ice Cream, Pizza, Cafes, and beach. Would definitely recommend this place and we are looking to book next year

Summary: Nicely remodelled cottage, right on Moon River, steps from all that Bala has to offer in restaurants an shops. Has all the wants and needs for a family and Najim was very responsive.

Summary: The cottage was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked except needs more knives. The beach is shallow and sandy and then weedy, rocks and then deep. The kayaks were great and there was lots of life jackets. The kids loved the lily pad. The boat launch next door was not very busy and provided entertainment talking to the locals.

Summary: A wonderful cottage experience in a very charming area. We felt so welcome and comfortable. The cottage was very cozy and very spacious. It really had a warmth and charm. The water was fabulous and the kids had so much fun catching frogs, watching ducks, loons, turtles, Dragonflies and most especially the adorable chipmunks. We swam, kayaked, hiked and swung in the gorgeous swing every day. We explored the charming town of Bala and the beautiful falls and had such a great time as a family. Nazim was a wonderful host and our stay at his lovely cottage was exceptional. The cottage has all the amenities we needed and more. We felt as if we were at home. I would highly recommend this lovely cottage.

Summary: The property is spacious and clean. The cottage does not have air conditioning, but there are fans in all the rooms and we were very comfortable at night. The property owner was very responsive when we had questions. The small beach and dock area are great for kids, as the water is very shallow and there is nice sand in that area. The river is very calm and nice for kayaking. Because the cottage is in Bala, it does not have the same secluded feel as some Muskoka cottages, but it is nice to have groceries and food options within walking distance. Overall a very nice stay.
