Summary: Our family of six had a very comfortable week staying here. Everyone had their own space when needed and there was plenty enough room for us to gather as well. We even had our friends over for dinner who were staying nearby and everyone was so comfortable. There are many conveniences and comforts is this home and we love that it is an historical home. The location is so incredible as well. Elk Rapids is a gem! We cannot wait to visit again next year!

Summary: We were greeted by a rotten pumpkin 2 months after Halloween. A pile of cigarette butts on the picnic table and a broken door hinge. We found mouse traps (empty thankfully), potatoes growing sprouts, milk jugs 6 weeks past the expiration date and other peoples trash. The key code we were given was missing information. Not all of the electric worked and we waited an hour and half to have someone come out to flip the power breaker. Two of the 3 nights, I had bugs in my bed. Not a clean or well cared for place.
