Positive: The property is magnificent with lush garden and fabulous colorful flowers of all sorts everywhere. It is a delight to wake up in such beautiful surroundings. On top of everything we had a warm welcome from the owner despite our late arrival which was very much appreciated. We could enjoy a nice breakfast with croissant and toast with homemade jam and fruits but there is few other options that we will try next time The location is secluded and beautiful with rice paddy nearby and you can even enjoy a small hike of 1h in beautiful forest to reach a view point on the valley. We will definitely come back during our next trip to Laos.
Summary: Delightful stay

Positive: This place is absolutely breathtaking — a true little paradise. Everything is beautiful, from the surroundings to the rooms, and we were genuinely heartbroken to stay only one night. A huge and heartfelt thank you to Frédéric, who was exceptional in every way: incredibly kind, warm, helpful, and extremely professional and attentive to every detail, both before our arrival and after our departure. It was also a real pleasure to spend time chatting with him about many different things — he truly makes you feel at home. Both Frédéric and his wife are former chefs, and the quality of the food is simply outstanding. From breakfast to every other meal, everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. Without a doubt, the best breakfast I’ve had in Laos so far. Thank you for such a wonderful experience, Frédéric. We sincerely hope to return very soon!

Positive: Absolutely loved our stay in Naga Lodge. The huts are just perfect: private, designed with taste, attention to detail and respect for the environment. The views are amazing. And although a basic hut -the bathrooms are shared- there is no compromise in comfort: high quality towels, linen, bathrobes, etc.

Positive: The location was fantastic. The staff were kind and the food was amazing.
Negative: The only criticism we have is that the lodge could do with improved (brighter) interior lights. It was not easy to arrange baggage after sunset.

Positive: We spent three days in Naga Lodge and it felt like heaven! The houses are beautiful and comfortable, the shared toilet and showers were very clean and above all the owner, his wife and the staff were super friendly, as well as the sweet dogs. While sitting in front of our cute house, we enjoyed the stunning views and we felt so relaxed. The park in the neighbourhood is a great day activity, only a few minutes walk from Naga Lodge. There are good mountainbikes to rent and you can play pool and petanque. Every morning lovely breakfast was served. For lunch and dinner Frederic and his staff prepared fantastic food. Both Asian and Western options were delicious and surprising. From freshly made pasta carbonara to buffalo cheek stew and roasted duck in red curry to noodle soup, we loved every single thing we ate so much and enjoyed the nice conversations with them. Highly recommend staying here when you are in Laos.

Positive: It was such an inspiration to stay in the middle of nature, with superb views, and having all the comfort you need, and more! The breakfast was exquisite, the owner so kind, cattering to the needs of the guests, I felt very welcomed. Also, the place has great eco design, that you see in every detail in the challet and surrounding landscape. Had an amazing stay, booked for 3 nights, then stayed one more to enjoy it fully. Highly recommend it.

Positive: Mr.Fredreic was very helpful in solving our problems during the stay. We appreciate the beautiful place and the delicious food. If you want to find a quiet time just to relax, I would recommend his place!
Negative: Provide more blankets during night time, because it's very cold in the mountain. Cooperate with several honest taxi drivers who are happy to help guests to commute.

Positive: It’s something unique. You are in the middle of the nature. A quite different pespective from the other stays in Luang. It has a 250m difference of altittude as well, so there are quite a few very nice views there.
Negative: The distance, but this you know before making the booking. A taxi costs aprox 12 Eur to Luang Prabang. The road is off-road. Going with a scooter there by night might seem a little bit adventurous and scary, but everything is safe. A hot shower would be great, water was almost warm.
Summary: Authenticity, very close to the nature, very refreshing and peaceful.
