This 2 bedroom single story home has been fully renovated and is a mere 90 minutes drive from the Melbourne CBD. It is bright and airy and the views down to the river are stunning. The house has direct access to the lovely Goulburn River.
The home has 2 double bedrooms with a queen bed in each. The house is set up for 4 people (2 couples). If a 5th person requires to be accommodated an option of a very sturdy and comfortable single bed can be set up between the lounge and dining area. This will attract a fee of $50 per person per night.
All amenities have been renovated with a large kitchen, dining and living area overlooking the river.
The home has Foxtel Premium.

This house is situated on the Goulburn River with absolute river frontage and a jetty.
The house is about 400 metres upstream from the Goulburn Weir. The weir is a very popular tourist attraction and well worth a visit. The Goulburn Weir, is Australia's oldest major irrigation structure and an engineering marvel of its time. The weir has been awarded international heritage status. There is a pedestrian walkway across the weir so visitors can take in and experience all the facility has to offer.
**** Swimming, canoeing and lazing about the river is a highlight. But there is a strict policy of no diving or jumping from the jetty or bank due to unforseen changes within the river. It is better to be safe than sorry!! ****
The Nagambie/Goulburn Weir region is famous for its lake, wineries, thoroughbred industry and river system. The great Black Caviar has been immortalised in a statue in the centre of Nagambie overlooking the lake.
For those who like their fishing this is the spot for you. This part of the river has no ski boats. There is a large amount of natural structure and the river is tranquil and peaceful.
As we live next door, one of us will greet you personally. If we are not available to greet you, alternative arrangements will be made. We live next door or just a phone call away.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay, the house was immaculately clean, it just sparkled. And although it's clearly an older house judging by the exterior design, inside has been fully renovated and is beautifully decorated. Such a relaxing feel. It is right on the river front with amazing views out of large windows/sliding doors. House contained everything you could possibly need for a stay, with many luxury and thoughtful extra touches. Can walk to / across the Goulburn Weir. We had some really nice meals in Nagambie which is a very short drive away, and there was plenty to do in town eg market, antique stores, walks around lake. Hosts were really lovely. Highly recommend!

Summary: We had a lovely stay and enjoyed our time looking out over the river. We were there for a wedding with our newborn and all went very well and it was perfect for what we wanted. Mick and Louis were very prompt with response and are next door if you did need to ask anything. One thing to note the reception and internet can be patchy. It didn't bother us as we weren't using it much but worth noting. overall had a great time and would go back for a longer stint. There is also a smaller place right next door on the same property which you could also hire if you needed more rooms.

Summary: Our family enjoyed a wonderful 4 night getaway at this fantastic riverfront home. The house was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed. The spot right on the river was perfect for our fishing and kayaking adventures and our hosts Lois and Mick were lovely to meet. We highly recommend staying here and we can't wait to return in the future. Thank you Lois & Mick for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

Summary: Superb property Excellent setting. Sweeping lawns down to the river. Wonderful hosts. The home was beautiful with everything that you need and in its tasteful presentation and decor. Special little treats as well. Can’t wait to go back.
