Positive: Beautiful, green, natural resort with mesmerising views of mountains and rice fields, located along a river with its own private beach. - There is a nice, open common kitchen area with all one needs to cook a meal; free water points throughout the resort; a bonfire pit and a shala on the river - the perfect spot for yoga, dancing or just some quiet time in the shade with only the sound of flowing water. - The bungalow is very cozy and spacious, finished with all natural materials, with a patio on one side and a 'deck' on the other. The best part of all is the bed - the mattress and bed linen are just amazing! I slept like a baby and really enjoyed the comfy sheets - pure high quality cotton, which is a rarity in Thailand. - The WiFi is pretty good and covers the area of the resort - a note for digital nomads, though I'd recommend a back up data pack (I needed it a couple of times). - The staff is very nice and helpful, and the owner, Yona, is just amazing - ready to answer any question or guide you to a hidden gem in the area, even taught me to ride a scooter:) - The most unique thing about nam jai pai is the people this place attracts - it feels like being part of a community from the first day on. The fact that I have not met here a single person that has not extended their stay says a lot. I would definitely come back.
