Positive: Beautiful and relaxing setting looking at surrounding hills. Spacious apartment with all you need and nice pool to cool off in. Dimitris and family are wonderful and friendly hosts. Short stroll into Main Street of zaros. Highly recommend the property.

Positive: We stayed in a well maintained large traditionally decorated duplex apartment and enjoyed peaceful stay in Zarós, with good access to the main road through the village and convenient parking on site at Nana Apartments. Hosts were very friendly and provided us with an excellent breakfast.

Negative: There are lots of dogs in Zarós and they all bark quite a lot! Not the property’s fault but definitely within hearing distance of the dogs. Sounds like there’s also a shooting range nearby, so don’t be shocked if you hear gunfire too…!

Positive: A big breakfast served by Dimitris, who was open to any suggestions. We asked for eggs :-) Mmmm, delicious." The spacious apartment with a mezzanine is a great starting point for visiting many attractions, such as gorges, the highest peak 'Psiloritis,' beaches, and tavernas. One restaurant, 'Vegera,' is definitely worth visiting.

Summary: For vibes like these, I visit Crete every year."

Positive: The host Dimitros is friendly and very nice to talk to. He also speaks German very well. The apartments are spacious, bright and well air-conditioned. The windows have fly screens so that no mosquitoes can get in. The breakfast is plentiful and tastes very good 👍

Negative: Dogs (from the neighborhood) are barking at night, so if you are a light sleeper it is best to close the windows or use some sort of earplugs. But that's like standard in less-touristy places in Greece 😀

Summary: We had a very pleasant stay ❤️ 😍

Positive: We stayed in Zaros a bit by accident (our reservation was canceled at the last minute) The place is nice, spacious and clean, simple cooker, tasty breakfast and nice owner. It is definitely a great base for people who want to hike in the mountains.

Negative: A big drawback for us were the halogen lights at night - a new part of the resort is being built next to it.
