Positive: Therese, Pat and Sinead were very warm and welcoming. They were so sweet with our 3 kids. Even our doggy Daisy enjoyed herself with their dogs. The cottage is cosy and perfect for a weekend away with 3 small kids and a dog. There's a small stoney beach approx 10.minute walk away.. perfect for a morning or evening stroll.
Negative: It was exactly how we imagined and as was specified in the ad. The house is in a rura locationl and is about 10/15 minute drive from Eyeries, Allihies and Castletownberhaven.

Positive: Mr. Murphy is really nice and he makes you feel welcome in his cottage. His wife and him live just nextdoor, so if you need anything, they can help you. There are actually two bathrooms (one has only a toilet, and the other one a toilet and a shower), which is quite useful if there are more people staying in the cottage.
Summary: Perfect if you love remote locations and traditional cottages.

Positive: We have loved the house, a traditionnal Irish house, located in a scenic place. The house was well stocked with whatever we needed, there was ever a vegetable grater ! The owner has been very nice. The situation of the house is quite far away from shops, pubs.... that has to be known before to come. The péninsule Baera is not as famous as the Kerry, but for our point of view, more beautiful and wild.
Negative: Nothing.
