Positive: One does feel welcome at this hotel. It is close to border crossing point, river Narva embankment and bus/railway terminal, and not too far from Lidl and Maxima. It was available on a short notice when I needed it. Dining in the restaurant inside may not be fantastic, but reasonably prices and they give you hot water for free :)

Negative: The hotel itself is old and needs renovation. Rooms are very old style, ours had a hole in one of the walls. They don't feel cosy inside, so are the corridors. I see that owners do their best to keep it rolling, but eventually they will need to invest in repairs and restyling before it falls apart.

Summary: Decent place to crash for a night if your border crossing plans fall through

Negative: This time there were no teapot in my room. Late booking, there were no choice -- I missed my late-evening cup of tea.

Positive: Thank you. I really liked everything. Very beautiful nature, with all the historical sites nearby. I recommend visiting the Narva Museum. I enjoyed the long riverside promenade. I liked the spa hotel. There weren’t many saunas, but the effect from all of them was very good. Both the hotel staff and the girls in the spa area were responsive and helpful. The breakfast was tasty—just what you need early in the morning.
