Positive: The room was cozy and well decorated. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. And the location was excellent. Very close to Feast and Floret where we ate an excellent dinner.

Positive: Although the property does not provide a seated breakfast there were nobles and a coffee machine was provided in the room . Lots of fun locations for breakfast are close by on the Main Street .

Negative: No designated parking spots but we got lucky and got a spot right out front with easy access to our suite.

Positive: Nautical Nest is a lovely, well-designed place within walking distance of everything in town. The kitchenette allows for some preparation of breakfasts, and the beads were really comfortable!

Positive: Perfect location in town and the check in/check out process was incredibly easy. We got lucky with our parking spot right in front.
Negative: Parking was tricky. You have to be ready to parallel park which should hopefully be easy for most people.

Positive: Our second-floor accommodation at Nautical Nest Suites was attractive, convenient and peaceful. The bed and the shower were both excellent; the air-conditioning and the access to the Internet were fine, and the set of dark curtains kept out the morning sunshine. Our room was quiet and had plenty of windows. However, as explained below, it is not at all evident that our room merited being described as a "Deluxe Queen Suite". The purely electronic check-in and check-out were without difficulty.
Negative: Our room (labelled as a "Deluxe Queen Suite") at Nautical Nest Hudson was not a "suite" as we understand the term. There was a small Nespresso-type machine but nothing more - no Mini-bar, no refrigerator, no microwave, no cutlery -- just an ordinary hotel room. To be fair, on the ground floor there was a small refrigerator, a microwave and some cutlery which can be used by all guests at "Nautical Nest Hudson". It would be more accurate to say that we had a queen room at the "Nautical Nest Boutique Guest House Hudson", as our room was nicely cleaned and made up each morning. In our room were very numerous decorative objects, including "coffee-table" books and small plants. As our stay at Nautical was part of a trip of nearly four weeks, our smartphones, our personal items and our own books had to compete with the numerous decorative objects for shelf space. We would have welcomed a somewhat more restrained decorative style. Most of the narrow, steep stairway to the second floor benefits from a well-made bannister; unfortunately that is not the case of the final few steps -- the steps after the stairway veers sharply to the right.
