Summary: The property is absolutely stunning, Kat and Dave are amazing people, they are very welcoming and don’t mind showing you around the property, the rental is very spacious, it has everything you need to cook/bake. Stormy and Biggs are the sweetest horses i have met, stormy loves to give you attention. The river is such a fun time and was the highlight to our trip, it was so fun to kayak upstream and then let the current bring you back down. Overall a 10/10, definitely will be staying here again.

Summary: Everything about this visit was as perfect as I could have wanted. Kat and Dave immediately made us feel at home while also making sure we had all the privacy we wanted. They were like friendly, helpful neighbors. The guest house was cozy and beautiful, with fresh flowers and Kat's paintings decorating it. The view out the window was the burbling river and the hills of the farm. We met their horses, we went ziplining (the zipline was a wonderful surprise that I hadn't noticed in the listing), we took long walks around the farm, we saw owls and bats and tons of birds, we soaked in the hot tub, and more. The kitchen was very well equipped and many basic supplies were provided. The town is minutes away and was much more interesting than I expected. There was a surprising amount to keep us busy and surprisingly good food, too. Sadly I know Kat and Dave are planning to sell and even if it's still available as a rental it definitely won't be the same without their homey touches and welcoming natures. I'd say grab this while you still can.

Summary: If you’re looking for a peaceful, babbling river kind of stay, this is the place for you! The old homestead is available to explore, and if you’re a history buff, be sure to check out the old barn and outbuildings! The guest quarters were super clean, and very comfortable. Thanks Kat and Dave for sharing your place and over the top hospitality with us! We will definitely be returning for a another visit!

Summary: Kat and Dave are such amazing hosts. They are wonderfully kind and have thought of everything to make for the most awesome vacation. There are tons of activities to do on the property and you feel very welcome to do as you please. Between the fun activities and the sound of the river flowing right outside your window, this is the perfect place to decompress. This was exactly the escape from everyday life that we needed. We're so happy we found this gem! If you're looking to relax, but also have fun exploring and playing, this is THE place! I hope we can return for longer next time.

Summary: Wonderful place to stay, the hosts are very sweet and want to accommodate you anyway they can. Enjoyed the river & bike rides on the Vernonia to Banks trail. You'll not be disappointed staying here. From hearing the gentle river sound from your place to enjoying time at and in the river. Kayaks & tubes available to use. A cute little zipline, horses to visit, wildlife to see, a fire pit to use and picnic table to sit and view the river from. So relaxing - enjoy!

Summary: Kat and Dave are seasoned veterans in the hospitality world and it showed with the unit well equipped and spotless. The pictures don’t do the location justice; the river, the garden, the fields , the hot tub under moonlight, the list goes on. Highly recommended Thanks again

Summary: Absolutely one of the best places we've stayed. Nicely decorated & fresh flowers too! The hosts are very nice couple and offer basically whatever you may need. Even a few things in the refrigerator & cupboards you may need. Our favorite was the use of the kayaks, sitting in the river, and our own personal hot tub. We're bike riders and brought our bikes and road the Vernonia/Banks trail that is close by. We liked this perfect little place by the river so much we already booked it again! You won't be disappointed!

Summary: I can’t say enough about this property and the hosts! The property was absolutely beautiful with a stream (kayaks and other floaty toys were provided and available to use), open fields, nearby forest (we even saw some deer and elk), fire pit, trampoline, corn hole, friendly horses, gas BBQ, spa, and a zip line. Yes, you just read “zip line.” The apartment was super clean, cozy, and very well taken care of. They had all the dishes and cookware we needed. The hosts were very accessible, but they also respected our privacy. If it were possible to give more than five stars, I would. If you’re looking for a quiet place to rest and get away from the hustle and chaos of city life, this is your place. We will definitely keep this place in mind for our next trip to the area. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!!!
