4 Bedroom House in Ludlow

Brand New 4/5 bedroom Summer Rental on Lake Pauline with large windows on every floor with beautiful lake views! Only 2 weeks left in August also week of Labor Day August 31st is still available. Ludlow home is approximately 2 miles from Okemo Resort Adventure Zone and Okemo Valley Golf Course, ranked best public golf course in VT! Great location for summer family vacation. Lakefront home with swimming, fishing and boating. House includes dock, aluminum row boat, raft to swim out to and 4 kayaks. The waterfront has a sandy beach and grassy area with badminton court. There is a large slate patio overlooking the lake with tables, chairs and gas BBQ grill. The house has 4 bedrooms and an office, 2 1/2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer on the main floor. Downstairs there is a family room (includes 2 new couches one with a double sofa bed) with a wood burning stove, 1/2 bath and one bedroom/office. The 2nd floor has an open concept kitchen w/ large island and large dining room table and one bedroom with a queen bed as well as full bathroom. The top floor includes 2 bedrooms with 1 queen size bed in each bedroom and 3rd bedroom has a bunk bed and 2 twin beds as well as a children’s nook. There is also a full bathroom on the 3rd floor. Outside fire pit. Firewood included. Kitchen has new oven, coffee pot, microwave, toaster and dishwasher. Plenty of room for your family. Sheets, towels and blow dryers are provided. Local Attractions include Red Bridge Dam, Green Mt. Sugar house a boat ride away or walk for their delicious and famous maple creemees, Fox Run 18 hole golf course, charming Ludlow Village, Buttermilk Falls, the Appalachian Trail, Long Trail Brewery and historic Camp Plymouth State Park the home of President Calvin Coolige. Check at 3pm Saturday and check out before 10am the following Saturday. All rentals include and cleaning fee and 12% VT state tax. Saturday to Saturday weekly rentals only in summer. Summary: The house was clean but quite shabby. Old torn furniture, stained ceilings,bathroom countertop held up by PVC pipe.Electrical concerns , especially with young children,with multiple outlets overloaded with extension cords particularly around beds in upstairs. Great price for amount of space but beyond rustic.

Summary: We had 4 guys for a long ski weekend and it was great. Owner was very responsive. WiFi works. Location was excellent. VERY rustic so expect an old house. The place could use some love, but for the price, it was perfect for our needs. Don’t expect it to be refined and sophisticated at this price point. We just needed a place to crash after skiing and it was good for that. Living room was great for hanging around the fire. I would recommend it as long as you are ok with it being old. Overall it was a great weekend.

Summary: Two families came up for the weekend and enjoyed 3 days of excellent winter fun here. We loved that it only took about 5 minutes to get to Okemo’s Jackson Gore lodge. We had small kids in lessons, so the close proximity was extremely convenient, and a major selling point. The owners were flexible and helped out immediately when the driveway iced over, sending the contractor with sand as soon as possible. Note, if you don’t have 4wd, don’t park at the bottom of the driveway if it’s icy ( thank you freezing rain!🤪). The owners were definitely attentive in terms of customer service, making sure that we were well taken care of. While the place itself has some rustic qualities, it was fine for us, and the price couldn’t be beat. In addition to being right in the heart of things, the place was well stocked with books and games for the kids. We had a great time and would certainly come back again!
