Summary: Loved our stay in this charming home! Nice location on quiet street near Averett University. Clean and well appointed with kind and responsive host. The kitchen and bathrooms are newly renovated. Love the heated tile floor in the upstairs bathroom! Made for a cozy holiday visit to my hometown.

Summary: Three “senior” sisters stayed in this incredibly comfortable and welcoming home for a trip down Memory Lane. We were born in Danville decades ago! The decor is minimal in the best way. The beds are comfortable and the linens fresh and new. We thoroughly enjoyed the home and its location. We hope to return!

Summary: Location was good and house has potential if it was cleaned properly. It was well stocked for the stay. However it was very dirty and had the following problems: There were ants all over the kitchen, in two of the bedrooms, and all over the downstairs bathroom. We had to clean both bathrooms thoroughly when we arrived after very long travel. We came in town for a funeral and so much cleaning and dealing with ants was the last thing we wanted to have to do. The bath mats were dirty and shower curtain was mildewed. Inside of the washing machine also had mildew and laundry was left wet in washer and laundry basket. All three trash cans were full outside so no room for the trash we had to take out. We left the home cleaner than we found it in hopes that the next guests would have a more comfortable stay. One plus was the host allowed us late checkout to accommodate our travel schedules. The location was central to Averett, the hospital, and downtown and the neighborhood felt safe. With some basic maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep, this historic and spacious home could be a real gem.

Summary: This place was perfect for my family, I grew up in Danville and have been living in Maine for 23 years , but have been visiting to gather with family twice a year all these years. We have stayed in hotels and different rentals . This was by far the best experience. Ellen was very professional, and promptly responded to any questions I had . Highly recommend this Rental. Budd
