Our guest house (barndominium) was recently built out with high-end finishes (granite, hardwoods, etc) and beautiful, new furniture. Overlooking a large pool (feel free to use) and with a nice patio and grill, you will feel right at home.
The barndominium is a unique space that is hidden in the shell of a metal building. Once you walk in the door, you will definitely be surprised by its rustic beauty and inviting appeal.
We are very near the Texas Motor Speedway and other local North Texas attractions.
With large lots and friendly neighbors, the neighborhood is great for getting out and walking/running and spending time outdoors.

Summary: We stayed for 21 days and would stay again if we return to the area. While the owners were very responsive when things were asked, we just thought some things should have been done more proactively - contacting us before the day we were to move in, provide instructions for operating tvs, emptying outside recycle bins. Because of the season, use of the backyard / pool was not in the plan. Based on the appearance of the patio, yard and the dogs, we would not have utilized those features.

Summary: The barndominium wqs perfect for a long weekend. Super convenient to get to Fort Worth. The owners are lovely, as are the kids and dogs! Their 3 pups are a blast and auper friendly. The pool was a hit with our kids!

Summary: There are not enough good things I can say about our visit. The Barndominium is palatial. The home is located in a very nice neighborhood, and the host family is divine. The pool and barndominium were immaculately kept, and it was so nice and refreshing to have a nice dip in the evening. All our needs were met, and communication with the hosts was so easy and comfortable. If we are ever in the area again, this is where we would prefer to stay!

Summary: As nice as the pics show! I was traveling with my mom and kids (12&16) were traveling Well appointed. Well stocked kitchen for making breakfast and meals. Has all the small appliances and kitchen tools you may need. If you have anyone with mobility problems, the master bed may be too high for them. They do provide a stool to climb up into the bed, but it’s easier for able-bodies to get into. The one in the 2nd bedroom is a little lower. Both beds nice and comfy. There are two bathrooms, but the 2nd half bath is outside off the patio, also good as a pool bathroom. The pool is super nice! Such a great design and the property’s best feature in my kids’ opinion. We loved spending time with their dogs, but the kids were hoping that they would get to swim with dogs too. The dogs weren’t feeling it, tho. The walk-in shower got good and hot, so watch out. The double shower heads are fun. Plenty of towels and the washer/dryer was handy for doing laundry after a few long days of travel. David, Lizzie & everyone we encountered were very nice, and respectful of our space. We would definitely come back when we are in town.

Summary: We loved this barndominium! The place was super cute, clean and within 30 miles of everything we wanted to do! The pool was a hit with our teenagers! Lizzie and Dave were very friendly and great to deal with! Will recommend to anyone making a trip to the DFW area.
